Anonymous, 17 May 2018It will cost less than a flagship with SD845. You also have... moreReminder that the Tab S3 with a 1.5 year old SD820 cost 600 €/$ at realease.

AshesToAshes, 17 May 2018No pen included. If you want an iOS and stylus, the iPad Pro is the way. Regular iPad is a way to downgraded for a stylus use.

      Seriously?

Finaly will be able to replace my ultra slow 16gb Samsung Tab S 10.5. lets hope its not the same ridiculously high samsung price.

I don't get why they can't make Tab S4 a SD845 or even better; Exynos 9810, and make the Lite version with the outdated SD835 or even older Chip-set, They made the same mistake with the S3 and forced me to try the iPad Pro, yet they are doing it again, they were my only hope for the tablet market with how microsoft and apple are both becoming the only option for high end tablets...

I have had iPad Pro, and coming from Galaxy Tab s2, all i was rewarded with was +2 speakers, yeah they are good, but the software is just simply glitchy, iOS 11 made my device worse in nearly every aspect, the multi-tasking would make the orientation glitch once every couple times forcing me to restart the device, the battery life went down from 10+ hours to barely 7 hours, and with having no expandable storage, when i dropped down to my last 2 free GB of storage i was having hell of FPS drops in even light games, so , yeah the iPad Pro is great tablet, but nah it doesn't blow me away in anyway of sorts!

It's ok tablet, not great in any way, with a bunch of software issues and poor software quality.

The specs are not bad though a bit outdated. This is very nice if the price is below $500. SD835 is quite capable too. That is still a flagship I guess. I wont expect it to be as good as Note Tab series were.

Finally! Flagship processor on a tablet. Good job Samsung! Hope the executives and business men/women will have interest on this device.

SD845 TABLET please, samsung. In 2018! Thank you.

16:10 ratio? Ew. Not much of a upgrade from the S3 which I'll stick with.

No innovative accessories, mediocre specs. and at a hefty price!!! When would other OEMs take this section of the mobile industry from Samsung and innovate it? Please, Oneplus and Asus, I look at you for answers.

I wish Samsung would make Tablets for Photography and Videography professionals based on the 18.4-inch Galaxy View tablet platform, qith the latest generation top end AMD Ryzen Pro mobile processors and upto 32Gb of RAM. I want to see Tablets replacing edition laptops and minin workstations.

I could see myself picking up at least one, if not more of those.

Good to have a newer option for a gaming tablet.
Up until now it's mostly either been the iPad (particularly the mini 4), or the Nvidia Shield K1.

Not even "last year's news" . Most flagships last year actually had 6 gigs of ram and in fact being a tablet it would of been better off with 8. Enough with Samsung's carousel of loading screens. Most self respecting flagships keep your most used app in memory even after a game. Only Samsung and Apple don't these days it seems.

As always a sub par attempt from Samsung, having left all the profits of this space to Apple. Note 10.1 2014 (best tablet ever) is a distant memory at this point (1600p, 3GB of ram, 8-core, 8200 mah battery, pen with socket, stereo audio... all in the distant 2013... imagine where would we be if Samsung kept pace).
