I'm expecting it to come at least before Android P becomes the best thing at that time already.
I don't like it to get Oreo only when others are already preparing to jump to P. Better yet there have lots of UI changes, considering how long it took them to give us an upgrade that's not really that big at all.

Got this phone 5 days ago. the camera is so awesome as i expected. It can compete with the PIxel 2 specially the portrait mode. Wow so wow! Xiaomi Number 1.
Overall i'm very satisfied.

Cause the 100 device have same or better hardware on it then you 200 that has brand value 300% on them. Same like Nokia X6 that has 250 euro starting point while it has SD636 same as this Redmi Note 5 AI. Yes X6 has better dimensions for it's 5.8 inch screen, but it does not have fm radio support, has a notch and smaller battery. I got my Note 5 AI from AliExpress for 173 euro and it included glass film too. So X6 may have better camera but it has not tested jet or compared with note 5 AI to know is it really better when for X6 shows 16mp + 5mp and for note 5 ai 12mp + 5mp as we know these numbers say nothing for picture quality.
So far i can buy from gearbest only that X6 and the price shows trough kimovil 371 euro 4/32GB and dont have even B20 on it. So add 20% VAT on it too.
I need to pay only 35 euro tax for the redmi note 5 AI i bought and should get it either tomorrow or in 2 days. So wait another month or 2 or even 3 when it comes in my local shops with something 300+ euro price tag on them where i dont need to pay that 20% VAT but this xiaomi is my first phone from that brand and second phone from China i have ordered. And the test version i had was Leagoo Kiicaa Mix that cost me only 92 euro and the build quality on it was good, but have some flaws i didint think it will be difficult to use.

Oh, that's funny, 'cause I just went there a while ago to help clean our school for our upcoming semester this year. I also participated in most of our school activities, which is considered a help in our community.
