I want to like HTC U12+
1. Display isn't AMOLED
2. Dual Speaker
3. USB-C
4. IP6X
5. Good Camera
6. Flagship spec
7. Camera has OIS
8. 18:9 ratio Display
9. Good Battery (This isn't sure for HTC U12+)
So I would buy an HTC U12+

Not good enough ... so no.
Sound restrictions (no jack) or even a decent DAC/AMP combo, no Amoled, slow software updates.
It's certainly not bad, but still not good enough.

Anonymous, 28 May 2018I actually did but I only see an AT&T version, T-Mobile... more Ironically, I was looking at the U11 information on the htc.com website just before I posted a claim here stating that there was a Sprint version of the U12+, when in fact the U11 has a sprint version, but the U12+ as of yet does not. I stand corrected.

I was hoping the Verizon version would have CDMA 2000 1vEx-D0 along with LTE bands 25 and 26 but I'm not seeing that anywhere on their website. Do you have the exact link for the Sprint version?

Hopes for Apple to proceed on this screen technology next time. :)

There is only ONE iPhone, and the other carriers have to adopt it the way it is, no Branding, no Bloat, no Variation. And Samsung is doing the same thing with its GalaxyS/Note flagships as well.... the Carriers are no longer allowed to make new variants (unlike the days of the Galaxy S1->S5).
Everyone wants carriers for their service, we don't want them messing with a phone's hardware and software.

Mark, 27 May 2018But they are not as good as HTC though. At least the true DAC is there than using USB C.
I wonder why HTC is not afraid of introducing new innovations on audio world.
