For hardcore Android users, those that like to flash custom ROMS, they should look to other brands.
For most Android users, those that don't even know what a "bootloader", they would probably won't give a damn because all they want is a phone that works as it should, and doesn't lag after a few months of use.

Bad move from Huawei. It will surly lose alot of customers. For me I never liked Huawei hardware anyway.

If Huawei says your device is no longer supported, your only option is to ... get rid of Huawei altogether.
