So much news all over the place. 2012 is shaping up to be an exciting year. We don't really know what will happen, harder to predict, with WP7 launches, iPhone 5, Win 8 tablets, Bada announcements.

            Wow.

I think there's no signicant change in Nokia Management. Before Elop took the position as CEO, Nokia acted slowly already when it comes to releasing good smartphones with up-to-date specs. But it's worser now cuz Elop got rid of Meego to give way to Windows.

Nokia is already too late in OS Phone industry. Still there 1st Phone will set the standards whenever they release it ...

Its got a smaller screen than the N9 and WP7 Buttons on the bottom so its not exactly the same hardware.

My question is, Microsoft gave Nokia permission to fully customize WP7. Why does it look exactly the same as regular uncustomized WP7?

Nokia is jus giving away their market share now. Samsung and htc are already pumping out mango smartphones (which will probably sell well in the xmas season, since they are quite impressive). WHAT THE HELL IS TAKING SO LONG !!! They have been working on the phones for months already. And I thought wp7 was meant 2 help them gain growth in the north american market, and to miss the xmas deadline is unforgivable. I will tell u now that the hottest selling phones this xmas season will be the upcoming apple iphone and the galaxy S II. And we will hav 2 keep reading yet again of nokias decline in the smartphone dominance arena. Elop u suck.

on the up side, people might actually try out N9 first and like it. it might actually be successful if it gets positive feedback :D

Don't worry folks, here in Australia we regularly get tech 6 months after the rest of the world. I would not be surprised if Nokia Australia is at the arse-end of Nokia's global distribution chain (as we are, seemingly, with everyone else) and as such the rest of the world may yet get Nokia's WP7 phone sometime in 2011.
