Godd questions,compliments to the Chinese guy. Unfortunately mainly marekting blabla answers.
"Staggered" release,country by country - this is laughable, they might just release it in Liechtenstein and Andorra (no offense) in Q4 and have their "promises" fulfilled.
This would only count as valid Q4 release if released in major markets like the US, Russia etc.

Just imagine n9 running the belle os:-). Is it possible to flash n9 and install belle on it cos i prefer belle os more than meego or any other os

Just think about belle os running on the same n9:-).. It will be cool:-). I prefer belle than windows cos symbian has more market share and support

gpu makes more difference
nokia IS ABLE to use dual core cpu, same like everyone else. samsung, lg, htc,... dont use their own cpu-s
but they dont want to, because symbian is gpu accelerated, so is wp7
there are optimized better than android, thats why they dont have problems with overheating, reliability and battery life.
people just want more and more without looking at the downsides and the bigger picture
for normal phone use, 1ghz is enough

Symbian + Qt is so much better and more powerful than this OS. Windows Phone is a total downgrade from Symbian. Wonder who will buy that. Obviously, not the current and former Symbian users.

If Nokia change the way of thinking, Nokia will be change the result.
Why don't Nokia use Android?
Nokia the strong hardware mobile will start to go up the parabol if it happen.

WP7 + Nokia is a very potent force in my opinion. There's going to be a jump in market share for WP7 after the first wave of Nokia devices in my opinion.

Do like the fact that you dont need a high spec list to run wp7 though. That will help nokia, it would be good to see them up on top with smartphones but I am slowly changing from a nokia fan to a samsung fan. If nokia release a high screen res, 1.2 ghz processor and 8mp camera atleast will be good for wp7.

I think Symbian Belle is more "impressive" than WP7! Maybe older, over 50, businessmen will like WP7 and its connections to Microsoft and the very expensiv apps for WP7. WP7 looks as if is designed for elderly, old, people with eyeproblems.
Nokia need to use the Harmattan skin on WP7!
I think Q4 will come and go before the release of Nokias first WP7, this announcement is probably just a way to temporarly silence critics that can not understand why it takes so long to add Nokia Maps and the Harmattan skin to WP7. Will it be this difficult, and take this long time, to add any app to WP7? In november it will be very easy for Nokia to say that their first WP7 will be released in just 2 months.
Now that we have waited so long for their first WP7 it really needs to be fantastic to justify the long time it have taken to develop. Stock WP7, without Harmattan skin, and only Nokia Maps added, will not be enough!
