Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) plagued by reboots and bootloops after Oreo update

30 May 2018
Curiously, some reboots are happening after connecting to specific WiFi networks, like Eduroam in Europe.

    Skip Oreo go to P

Geric.770, 30 May 2018Oh please. Just tell me you didn't experience these issues ... moreLG G2 G4 G7 V10 and V20 and none of samsung thank you very much. and no bootlooping for now. and im not saying that bootlooping is fake news im saying that LG fixed it and it was al part of the chip problem and the bootloop didnt happen because of updates but hardware. hardware is faulty of bad chips, updates are samsung own faulty. then again no phone is perfect the idea is to enjoy the phone while it lasts, when it doesnt just replace it but dont hate the whole world just because your or someone elses G4 bootloopet or anything. cheers

What's the point of hiring people to test the phone for bugs if they can get one thing right ,and Samsung is major phone company and they don't hire people of the street

Samsung phones are meant to be used in their current OS only... so if you want newer OS version you must buy a new phone that ships with it out of the box.

Only their flagships are the best of the best.
Their midrange phones are a trash, since Nokia has a better implementation. :)

I'll keep my current phone for the next 2 years then I'd get a Nokia.
I'd only consider Samsung for super high end.

It's time for Sammy to put aside the little green robot and introduce an OS of its own. They got enough experience under their belt toying with Tizen, it's time they put their act together and produce a true competitor to iOS. There are millions of people waiting for an alternative to the buggy and extractive google os.

There's no way Samsung will able to accept their promises.
It's still a lie until now.

I hane no reboots or bootloops after Oreo with A3 (2017). There is no problem with my mobile. I think, would be good comments like this!

But hey, at least there's an update now!
In my own case, my Redmi 5 Plus will only get Oreo update when everyone else is now preparing to upgrade to Android P.
                                        No, MIUI is NOT stable.
I guess this is not the "value for money" that I was expecting.

I should've just paid more and get something like the Zenfone Max Pro M1 and have a guaranteed WAY BETTER overall device in every possible way. That guaranteed Android P upgrade is lovely, and I say "tuck MIUI!"
