Anonymous, 30 May 2018Another example of updates that may not be good for you, bu... moreUpdates can be done nicely well if the OEM puts dedication and workship into doing it.
Look how many Nokia and Sony phones were broke because of an update OTA; NONE!
This only shows that Samsung's not even interested about making the user experience that good.
And don't give me such excuses like having more features, because stock Android already has EVERYTHING I would ever need in a smartphone.

Anonymous, 30 May 2018Another example of updates that may not be good for you, bu... moreOf course. People buy Samsung because of the name, quality, and trust. But this kind of issue is still bugging out some users out there, and I'm one of them who seriously stepped down Samsung's name and switched to other brands. Don't get me wrong. I still loved Samsung's way of creating such wonderful devices, but the little things really pushed me towards other Android manufacturers.

In addition of being late, every Oreo update on these Samsung phones leads to issues.
Samsung needs to drastically improve its software division, that's unacceptable coming from the major Android manufacturer!

Another example of updates that may not be good for you, but still people go nuts when there is promise of updates so they will spend more just cause it's a brand promise.

Samsung is biggestphone manufacturer and number 1 in market share but this was expectable.
They only make and sell. Nothing else interests them.
Bad support no after sales support and everything they do they do it in rush.
Like Steve Jobs at beggining. Pushed all his people into the maximum possible pressure and corner and expected unbelievable.
Samsung is same. But this way they will once day fall and when they fall they will fall deep like HTC but they will never come back to see the shining lights of sunrise.

Hey guys, that's what I was talking about when I said it was probably better not to update my A5 (2017) to Oreo.
Don't update a Samsung that works well if you are not at least 95% sure it will go well

Samsung and LG are the same in terms of updating phones.
I hope they will fix these issues fast before their fans will rant here and kill the company's name. :/
