Otherwise go the xiaomi/oneplus route and make it a good deal for the money.
HTC is somewhere in the middle, where not many people are interested.

      HTC it's top brand, better then samsung, huawei and other. Top camera+top audio+top software... LCD for me, stop burn in amoled, samoled, oled, lcd natural color vivid, not over saturation hurt eyes....

        HTC might bring an Android One to the market but they will remove its headphone jack too. Lol!
        Big bezels even though the display would be 18:9 haha or with a notch.

          Doesn't surprise me at all. But a phone this caliber and this quality, it's a lot better buy than an S9+, Iphone X and the LG G7 ThinQ. It's competitive to the Mate 10 Pro, XZ2, Pixel 2 XL and LG V35 ThinQ.

            It's just a good phone, but it's not a special phone and for the money that they'll ask for it it'll need to have a special thing it does better than all else. The Oneplus 6 doesn't need a gymmic because it's cheap. Unless it's cheap it's a good phone, but not a great one.

              This is by far one of the best smartphones of 2018. (Lack of features aside)

              Build quality - check
              USonic earbuds - check
              Super LCD6 - check
              Battery - check? (LCD eats more, but hey it's still good)
              Speakers - awesome

                Not even warm. I say merely lukewarm welcome. HTC is like a company that is forced to be alive even when it want itself to be dead but dont want to let their fan be sad. Alive just to keep certain fans happy. That is how I see it. This new HTC U12+, not happy neither hate it. If I see it at a phone store probably just ignore it existent.

                  Something like that cannot be taken away then just simply placed back.

                  I know that HTC and Sony are probably regretting such actions this early on, but a good time for removal of the jack is when Samsung removes it. This way no-ones blaming or smack talking anyone. Because Samsung Fans will always be Samsung fans, Same with Apple, Sony, and HTC fanboys...
