Ashura, 16 Sep 2011The anti android thing? No that was directed to Nokia Fan Pr... moreOk good.. I'm just glad to see the N9 didn't bomb. Because its rare to see such creativity as a whole in one device. Last time I saw that was with iOS's debut with its Minority-Report-esque gestures.
Then Android with all its geeky unlockable potential was released which blew me away (Like the Android/Debian multi-boot scenario done in the old days at its inception).
For me though, this is the next big thing.. Its just not really acknowledged. Its fresh and new can work in multiple environments, has that same geeky unlockable potential that Android has, but with a simplified super-straight forward UI so any body could use it. Which to this day is something that iOS still has over Android. (Android isn't geared toward everybody unfortunately).
However, it does support a plugin like system for the UI so it can be customized too if you wan't something more complex.. And then it supports Android apps out of the box too (Alien Davilk). I like the direction Meego is pointing in. And maybe i'm a bit enthusiastic about it..

Jeff, 16 Sep 2011People still think the N950 is coming? Do they know how to ... moreSome people like myself want a physical keyboard. All of the smartphones I have owned had one. I am aware of the trade-offs I need to make in order to have a phone with a physical keyboard and I am willing to make those trade-offs.

I am...surprised.Only one anti Android comment out of 61(tough it comes from a troll so it barely counts).I see some real progress here well done.On a more serious note i am not realy surprised the pre orders went trough the roof with all the news and hype this phone had lately

An absolutely useless article. How many were available? One hundred? Two thousand? The worst chinese knock off will sell out at this quantities. I am sure they did not accept preorders up to one million of these, particularly of the costlier ones, because it is widely known that the run will be very limited.
