Google working on a Snapdragon 710-powered Pixel smartphone for early 2019

This could be the rumored mid-range device from the tech giant we've heard before or an entirely different phone.

If Google is working on mid range Pixel, then it's something interesting. Logic says - with mid range taken care by Android One, lower tier by Android Go no need to go for mid range Pixel.

But it's only possible, if it has something to do with Apple. Apple may be launching some mid range device and Google is trying to compete that with mid range Pixel. A device with complete control by Google, the way Apple does.

        just give us a mid-budget powerful sub 300$ phone & call it Nexus.. revive the series and keep things budget friendly just like the good old days..

          Again, focus on the Indian market when we over here at the U.S. want more options than Samsung and Apple. Nice job, Google.

          We need a third mobile OS. Sick of Android. Sick of iOS

                    Everything in life has a premium altenative which people buy to show their superiority.

                    For Eg Why Do we Have companies like Rolex , Rado , Lamborgini , Ferrari ,Rolls Royce, Gucci , Armani why dont all these brands make products for cheap.

                    If pixels start selling for $200 what will be the difference
                    between them and a Xiaomi or those other chinese clones.

                    Google actually wants to compete with IPhones and Appeal to that Demographic of people , For the Midrange and Lower End there is Android One and Android Go.

                            Google fears if they launch the midranger to the world, many people wont buy their pixel flagship!! Because pixel is damn expensive.
