Mi 8 with snap 710 for same price as J7 2018 with maybe snap 450 its like when we compare porsche and maybe fiat.
J3 2017 in my shop still cost the same price as Xiaomi Note 4 which is 4 times better faster and with much better display vattery ram CPU GPU.
So J3 2018 will cost around 180 eur and for that price A1 from xiaomi with vanilla android is again much better option. Even P9 lite 2017 is much better option for price of J3 2018.
Samsung is nothing else than a crazy mad insane company.

Samsung really have to ensure that the chipset has changed and isn't an old SOC from 2 years ago, or a 1.6ghx exynos. They might be able to get away with a Snapdragon 450 or 625 but if its none of these and the screen is not Full HD+ then you can forget it.

From where J3-5-7 are midrangers?
They are low end of Samsung line but with a price of a midrangers.
In case of J7 2018 we can buy Mi 8 SE which is best possible opton for a same price.
In case of J5 and J3 2018 there is practicaly every other phone much better because for a same price its offers beast compared to these 2 weaklings where user had to pay extra onnly for a Samsung sticker on its device.

I just hope the J7 starts at 32gbs, a 16gb Mid Ranger in 2017 is/was a joke anything over $$199 should have 32gb minimum there's no reason to even manufacturer a 16gb option above that price point imo

Even Leagoo Kiicaa Mix has smaller bezels on a sub 100$ device. It also a bigger battery, more RAM and dual SIM or SD card possibilty and the screen size is as marketed, unlike iphone x's 5.8" display which really is a 5.5" display with horns.
Android manufacturers make large screen device because that's what most users are demanding. They do also make small screen ones, but the market for that is small.
Btw these Sammy J devices are budget devices and horrible value as well. Steer clear.

That's why nobody can do a phone as small as iPhone X, that is a masterpiece of miniaturization. Most Android manufacturers create large phones with huge screens because they cannot do smaller ones.
