Who's going to spend $210 for this specification?

This phone is of 19th Century and the price is of 21st century? People should be stupid enough to spend money on this one.

Google won't approve a device for the use of GMS if there's no compass, as Maps is part of the package. If you can't run Maps due to a lack of compass, then you can't use GMS.

      Correct me if I'm wrong

By looking at the hd photos from the original source, it seems to me that the back plate might be removable (no traces of side slots for the sim and microsd cards). User replaceable battery perhaps?

If only the J7 Duo 2018 had ambient sensor.. it would be the best of the batch for me (dual cam, removable battery, beefed cpu..)

It was the slimmest and sexiest 16:9 screen phone of all time!

umeshk, 08 Jun 2018I u have to keep 16:9, do keep. But cut thise bezels to 201... moreThis technically impossible because it would reduce the internal volume of the phone so much that the components would not be able to fit inside ! This is the real reason why 18:9 screen phones exist.

Seems as if Samsung just decided to empty all their inventory of 2016 J series parts leftovers..

Since when are Js mid-rangers? I guess As are flagships now and Galaxies and Notes are just too expensive.

So, J7 2018 is almost the same but without metal housing? Good one..

So basically this year we have 6 new J series phones. J3(2018), J4(2018), J6(2018), J7(2018), J8(2018) and J7 Duo(2018). But none of them is as premium as last years' J series cz none of them come with a Metal body, all of them are made entirely out of plastic. And all of them lack all the basic sensors like the auto brightness, gyro, compass etc.

I u have to keep 16:9, do keep. But cut thise bezels to 2018 level

                              Total flop with 16:9 displays
