The beloved Xiaomi stock android phone that people always praise so much having big issue. How to trust Xiaomi updates anymore? Hope they out a bug fixes real quick. Prove to all how super fast your update is dear Xiaomi.

My SMS still there, no wipe out.
So far no noticeable issue with the update.

I have not updated yet.
I have backed up my sms, contacts and all.In case if it gets deleted, I should be able to recover.
But I am definitely not hitting the 'update' button now. I am ok to skip this update.

Apart from sound improvement other updates only cosmetic fiddling by xiaomi, very disappointing. Old kernel and project treble not implemented, what a crock for this device. Why does xiaomi bother with updates then.

My entire SMS history is gone before I read this news. It had SMS for many years. Kindly suggest what can be done.

Every single time an Android is updated, debilitating bugs appear. It's ridiculous how little software is being tested before they are distributed.
