It is known that those give a broad idea and lower scores don't mean bad experience.
There was a time when benchmark scores were under 5k, still the UI was smooth for that time, arguably smoother than some devices now.

AnTuTu is a scam don't believe it, Google pixel 2 xl got lower scores on AnTuTu but was the fastest Android device of 2017!!!
