I use (or rather forced to use) a pc running Windows 10 at the office and it’s a total mess. So busy with all kinds of distractions. And that’s in a 15 inch monitor. I can hardly imagine someone using the same OS on a tiny screen. Microsoft is clueless of how to make an OS that it’s good for a mobile device.

All corporations operating in the EU have to hand over all user-linked data they store if requested for it by the user, or face overwhelmingly large fines. Apple even has a simple service for you to request your personal data, and guess what; they store next to nothing. You can try it yourself.
Apple has nothing to gain by monitoring and storing user data and activity. They are not an ad network business like Google and Microsoft, where their users are their product. Apple is a hardware company, and has taken privacy very seriously.

Even the Siri conversations are given an anonymous number when it's sent to be analysed by the servers, and completely stripped of that number after 6 months. Apple Maps data is cut into smaller pieces and fully anonymised. Nothing can tie you to the data used to improve their map and voice assistant services.

Literally st... moreYou're literally saying Apple asked users not to use their devices in a way that would cause issues, not blaming them for using them a certain way. You do realise there's a very clear distinction there? Also, with the iPhone 6 (Plus), the phone was fixed mid-life cycle, and any phone handed in under warranty received the fix as well.
The issues you try to bring up are on the same level as issues that plague ALL manufacturers of hardware. Why you have such a hate for Apple in particular, I can't understand. Or do you just treat manufacturers like football teams, where you have to hate one and love one? Makes sense in that case.

Like Dave Lee said, the Surface Go is actually more around $650 in total given the pen, type cover and mouse are kind of expensive.

This chipset have one problem.. does not support egpu. Without extra power when needed, it will have to fight with ipad / chrome books / android tablets, plus a lack of apps.
Microsoft should differentiate itself by pushing intel to add at least a thunderbolt controller.

Unless you are a fanboy of course to believe what Apple tells you. Be aware I use an iPhone 7 and I'm not Apple hater but the reality here is that you can't believe what corporations tell you. The users data is the most valuable currency in tech world.

Not all need 8 gigs for surfing the net.
The pen is optional.
You're not forced not to use your current keyboard and mouse (and most android tablets at that price also don't have those)
And upgrade is free unless you want the 10 pro.

Apple obviously opted for a haphazard solution, to silence the complaints, by giving away 100,000 bumpers to cover an issue that affected tens of million phones. You do the maths, mate. Bendgate, Apple literally blamed users they shouldn't put a phone in the pocket. Again, straight from the top. Never acknowledging the issue and as you admit yourself, leaving tens of millions with a flimsy phone, with a destroyed resale value, while only fixing the issue on the next revision. The AC adapter issue was a long running manufacturing fault they eventually fixed and were forced to recall millions of adapters in Europe and Asia. You're right again that they as usual blamed users for buying random 3rd party brands even though they always knew the complaints about their own products were real.
The core of the issue is often their use of people like you. Spamming the internet with lies to silence the problems. Reality Distortion Field. A disinformation method Apple has actively used for decades to the extent it was given that Apple specific moniker.

With "Bendgate", Apple never stated users were doing something wrong. What Apple tend to do instead is internally fix the issue and fix any products that are handed in under warranty, which is what happened in "Bendgate".
I've never heard of "Powersupplygate", unless you mean using cheap Chinese copies of the Apple chargers and cables, which risks damaging the devices they're plugged in to. The same issue can be seen now with USB-C, where cheap uncertified cables can wreck anything they're plugged in to.
At no point did Apple blame their customers. Try again with your blatant lying.
Also Apple aren't serving an ad network like Google and Microsoft. I don't think you have a clue what you're talking about, or what an ad network is.
