well Android is a democracy.
the rest are dictatorships.
only democracies listen to people.
that explains why android has all the apps and updates.
that's why Android rules.
peace

To be in the competition.... try to make the phone which has better build quality with aluminium finish - Gorilla glass display, latest updated OS and high battery capacity. This is the only reason people look elsewhere to get a better smartphone. I have owned a lot of Sony Ericsson phone's and I am glad to say that they make some really good looking phones and if they meet the above criteria I am sure they will lead the market.

Currently I am using SE Arc.. it would be great if they provide us 2000 mAh capacity battery - fed up of charging everyday and there is no apps in the market that could actually boost the battery power :( Pls pass on this message to SE.

SE having second thoughts while opting to buy Motorolla Mobility and Google springing from nowhere and snatching it is more like spotting a pretty girl and having doubts on whether to make advances or not only for another person to come and overtake you and make a kill with the girl!!! ;-)

Ano, 04 Oct 2011Sony Ericsson already had partnership with Microsoft with t... moreHTC made good Winmo handsets. SE did not. So the failure was more on SE stingy hardware spec.

Read this statement "I am quite curious about Windows Phone" that mean he doesn't know much about Windows Phone Mango. Windows Phone Mango is the best smartphone operating system ever. His statement is worthless, he should concentrated on improving sony ericsson's hardware, rather than commenting on Windows Phone OS.

Sony Ericsson already had partnership with Microsoft with the Experia X1 and X2. After those two phones the partnership ended. I've no idea what experience Sony Ericsson have with Microsoft.

Dude, 04 Oct 2011I think SE will have WP7 when the market have been shifted ... moreWhat would you have done if you were the CEO of a company that had been through a significantly bad phase that it desperately needed to recover from? A, gone "innovative" with an OS that hadn't been received well by the consumer, taking the risk of little or no sales, and thereby, a possible further deterioration in the company's bad state, or B, become an "implementer," opting for an OS that was already popular with the consumer, and therefore, more likely to give you much better sales and, with that, a much better business?

n tell him, if he wants to make it in android
he needs to be out wt dual cores, 1gb rams, front facing cams etc.. for their flagships...
out this year, not in 2012!! by which they would have become outdated

As normal, SE just love to follow instead of creating their own path. They will use whatever OS that is well-demanded, they are just a good implementer , but not innovator or creator. Making SE a company that just can't be a trendsetter.

Nooooo .... Sonyericsson should never stop making feature phones. They make great feature phones and i've been using them since last 10 years and was very happy with all of them.I still have Aino and i absolutely love it.Both smartphones and feature phones should co-exist.

My next phone will be Windows Phone, and I hope Sonny Ericsson will have one by then.. otherwise I'll have to turn to other manufactures.
Meanwhile, I have Arc and I'm happy with it, but I think windows phone has better potential, I hope the CEO understands that from now.
