I think they are used to sell people a new phone each year and now people don't need this. They should adapt their sells. Just cut on production and release some good phones not more. Just like manufacturer s produce and sell laptops or desktops with a lifespan of 7 year. Instead of 1/2 year and yes also support their devices longer with software updates.

I can understand Samsung doing this with its vast spending power snd sales, but LG is just going the HTC route sooner or later, as it is probably 1% of people looking for a flagship buy a LG, their flagships are going downhill fast! With this strategy i see LG becoming a low to mid range smartphone company st best. Then they're competing with Xiaomi and Huawei and Samsung in that department, so they're going to fail miserably
. If they weren't selling oled and LCD panes they would already be the next HTC.

By not launching Galaxy A3 (2016) , A3 (2017) , J5 (2017) in India , Samsung has already given open market to Oppo , Vivo . What is the name of this strategy ?

Here in UK, Huawei are very affordable phones. The P20 can be had, with 4GB data pm, for £23 per month on a two year contract with Vodafone. Possibly a little upfront too, but that price is on par with some S8 offers.

Luxor, 18 Jul 2018You worship chinese brand so much it is amusing. The death ... morebelive me, chinese brands are not stupid, not like the big brands, they know what we want (microSd, IR Blaster, headphone jack...) and even if they go up and beat sammy or crapple i belive they dont cut the corners and keep give us this things...
price will be higher then, but even if they rise some dollars will be better and still cheaper than a mid or high end from crapple and sammy.
people dont understand chinese market and chinese people, they are so generous with people and still people keep glorify big, overpriced and greedy company's like crapple and sammy.
and i dont like chinese brands so much as you may think, but unfortunnaly theres more chinese smartphone makers than other countrys so, my "chinese" things of talking is globaly talking.

If I were them, I'd try new designs and materials. See how a flat screen Galaxy, with the same specs, but different back, maybe even a bigger battery, does. 4000mA s9, with a non-glass back. How about a smaller note.

I purchased most expensive Android tablet of Samsung Note series and I got only one major android update. This is an insult to customers. Pathetic RAM management, only 5-6 apps remain in RAM but no update to fix. I feel cheated and stupid to spend so much on Samsung

Is good that this has finally clicked with them but they have to reduce their prices too. They are far too overpriced. The quality and amoled factors are there they just need to give good specs at a good price.

Releasing many new models is not the answer to Huawei but getting their prices right is. The secret is getting the price right for a new must have phone. Price too high and people look at other makes. Need to stop trying to copy apple they have no competition. If the customer wants ios Apple can charge whatever it wants for handsets and evidently the customer is willing to paying it. But Android is a whole different ball game and customers are spoilt for choice these days.
Samsung trys to fight the battle on 2 fronts it not only wants to dominate Android but Totally dominate in mobile phones and will keep on losing out to the likes of Xiaomi and Huawei if its prices are high so as to look to be competing with apple because of the philosophy of cheaper price equils cheaper quality product.
