Samsung reportedly aims to launch foldable phone in early 2019 with a 7" screen

The screen will fold inward and there will be a secondary display. The phone is expected to be pricey at launch, though.

      7 inch is tablet territory, why is every manufacturer going with big displays? smaller bezels does not make the display smaller. what happened to 5 inch displays? those were the perfect size to hold and to use.

        So, another niche product that will become trending after years of adaptation like the Edge displays.

            A great approach to introduce foldable phone. Definitely a niche product at first like the Note Edge once were. I expect a fast adaptation by chinese brand in second half of 2019. The only oled panel supply they can get is from LG or Samsung anyway. The real deal or a more polished version of these foldable phone will only appear in 2020.

Now every possible car has it. So they all copy from Volvo. It is normal to have the same approach in mobile technologies. We cannot expect each mobile brand to be an innovator.

                No Chinese company can keep up of them. Now they have started to come up but they're not at their level and I am saying tech wise

                  A DS in your pocket lol. No seriously it sounds great but is not a new idea. It wil just be an old idea with new technology. The Nokia Communicator was a folding phone so were flip phones. This is just s new twist on what once was.

                        i cant wait to see the other companies start copying lmao samsung especially the chinese companies:l

                          Most mobile firm works on the foldable mobile, and doesn't matter who comes with the first one, i think it will go fast and we all will get better prices in future.
                          Many people always talking about copy as a bad thing, what is wrong with copy, we all dont have to invent the deep plate or the wheel cmon.
                          We now see many small brand coming up fast and with many new things, the old big ones is behind with.more thing and specs now and still they keep their sky high prices... whsts to say... greedy maybe.

                            Is this a advertisement again? Why they keep mention again and again? Are they need to show the sense of presence like this?
