Not an Apple fan, but I recognize his intelligence and the partial revolution he caused with an out-of-the-box mind. I think Apple competitors will have it somewhat easier now. But I hate it when we lose good people.

AnonD-25188, 06 Oct 20113 apples changed the world:
Adam and Eve’s forbidden apple... moreAdam and Eve's apple is a a myth coming from mythology.
But this man really made the word Apple as an asthetic and a technological marvel word. Otherwise, we would have just thought about Apple something as which we can only use to eat.

Steve Jobs was a great man and true innovator. He definitely made his mark in this world and will be remembered for decades.
In response to people railing against cancer research: please please please take a class in developmental biology (or maybe even basic biology) and you'll understand why cancer research seems slow and expensive. Actually realizing how cancer forms will probably make your rethink your positions.
Understanding is more useful than simply critiquing using prima facie facts.
Mr. Jobs, I wish your family the best.

First an admission- I have never used an Iphone. But I KNOW that the news of Steve Jobs passing away is far greater in magnitude compared to an HTC phone release that is the current prime news on your website! Jobs kick-started the smartphone industry and turned it into a mainstream product. Give the man his due on your website!
