If you think that the only product that keeps them afloat is the PlayStation, you should do some research before posting your opinion on the web. PlayStation, Bravia, Sony Bank, Cybershot, Handycam, Hi-Fi systems, headphones (incl. Extra Bass series)... Did I forget something?
Oh, right! Sony Music, the second or third biggest record company in the world, Columbia Pictures, previously having rights to the 007 movies for many years... If you think Sony's success and survival depends on a little a** brand by the name of Xperia, you're so naive.

That's why flagships have more updates and upgrades.
I'd rather have a device with 300-400 ppi and 4-6 years support and costs ~$600 than having one that costs $1k for a screen I can't appreciate :/

It's not the same having a Full HD/ 1080p screen on a phone at that price than a 2k/1440p screen. That's one of the the reasons why I haven't bought the P20 Pro. I love the phone and all that brings (the notch can be overlooked) but a 1080p screen on a 800$ phone?
No thanks.
Of course not everyone would agree, especially iPhone users. 1000$ for that screen and that small battery?? Meh

2K and 4K screens are absolutely unnecessary on mobile, just marketing gimmicks.

This means Sony phone prices will drop :D
So if you're from Europe, quit whining like a spoiled brat over the high price tag.

Why can't sony go on to youtube and see concept ideas.. I mean they look better than this yes some of the tech is currently there.. but they could do much better than this.. you can't tell me this design is popular in it's home country of japan..
