Android lovers stop complaining, pathetic. You all. Dual core this, dual core that! If you were given two devices... one, an android (dual-core) and the other a windows phone 7 (single core), without manufactures telling you the processor, you would say both run at the same speed or the WP device would run faster.

The only reason you all cry is because you have been given/told one thing to taste (Android), essentially brainwashed. WP7.5 is smooth as butter, Android is overloaded with junk and now boring, old for my test. I prefer the new, Mango.

Nokia is the best mobile maker. I wait for such long time that when Nokia launch Nokia Windows phone? Now the time is so close. I think if Nokia develop Winodws Phone OS for Nokia's device then I'm sure that Nokia Windows Phone is break all the record in Mobile World. Or if Nokia just use microsoft os for nokia's device like other brand samsung, lg, htc or etc. Then nokia's wp also are normal like other wp. Nokia's mobile are always standard n not so ugly. I love Nokia's Phone or specially Nokia N8. High camera mobile r available in market but now only high camera dosn't enough for us, if any brand give us high camera mobile then they should also give us features for camera. I think now nokia is the only brand who give us carl zeis optics with xeon flash and other features are normal like android high camera phone. Nokia please always maintain ur standarity.

If not for Steve Jobs, WP will be lame and too complicated to use. And still using a resistive screen..

But it's too early to say that, this WP7 from nokia will be famous. Because now, people keep an eye on nokia and wp.

But hopefully Apple create another new things so that we all can use in other brand..
          Mobile tablet, check
          Phone, check
          iOS, check
          iTunes store, check
          Mac(software), check

          Hrmm!! What else!
Since apple are going to move the mac sector by using ARM processor, maybe all will follow...
          Ooyea!!

What does this thing have that my N8 doesn't apart from a 1.4GHz processor for me to consider an "upgrade?"

What customizations have Nokia done to WP7? If Nokia only have addad Nokia Maps then Nokia WP7-phones are just some of many WP7-phones with exactly the same look and feel as those from Samsung and HTC... If Nokia had choosen Android then we probably already would see many new, and dual-core (WP7 can only handle 1 core), Nokia-Androids that all use the same Harmattan skin as N9 use, and Nokia Maps would complement Google Maps, just as HTC use Locations as a complement to Google Maps, and Nokia would support the ability to use all Android Apps on N9!
I think Microsoft have decided that Nokia should use micro-sim because Microsoft want to make it easy for iPhone-users in USA to change from Apple to Microsofts Nokia, and at the same time make it very difficult for WP7-users if they want to upgrade to an Android-phone!

May ask you, does this phone really have the "got to have" appeal? This phone leaves me untouched at least and if was forced to buy a WP7 phone I would probably choose a Samsung.

I think its more interesting to see in S46 - the Wave III will be released ;-)

As for using MicroSIM, dear o dear ... when will they learn ...

I though the N9 was supposed to be a red haired step-child using the MicroSIM now the SUN has one as well ... Shame

Anonymous, 06 Oct 2011So they will do it Nokia's way, flood the market with multi... moreWell for WP7 1.4GHz processor is High end, Nokia makes the best camera phones and one of the best quality builds in the industry. What do you expect for a high end phone? And btw for the low end ... hold your words for February... Nokia stated that they will make WP7.5 phones that are cheaper then the cheapest Android phone ... witch is quite cheap.

I believe this is called 'SUN' in memory of all the previous W# phones that used to heat up so much while using Wi-Fi.......you had to wear asbestos gloves!

Will they make it in 'Ultra Violet?'

This phone will be a 'Hot Seller' for sure.
                          One to eclipse all others.
Will put competition in the shade.
                          Sure to be a star.

......but there is only one GALAXY!!!!!!

nokia's gotta juice these devices up... and a micro sim port coild just kill it... plus, nokia needs loads of features to make this products worth buying and yet cheap for the majority...

Nokia WP7.5 is the last piece of the puzzle. Samsung, HTC, LG and Nokia, coupled with MS' great OS (and their encouragement of devs) can really make WP7.5 grow.

                                      can't wait!
