No notches here. Also, the pricing is more than reasonable for a Snapdragon 845-powered phone.

With how slim it is I just hope it's rigid enough to survive bends.
If yes - I might finally have a successor for my 2014 phone...

Barry Palmer, 08 Aug 2018The only difference between this and One plus 6 is the notc... moreWrong. The Oneplus 6 not only has an ugly notch, its top bezel is neither the same thickness as the bottom bezel nor the same thickness as the side bezels, it's a very crude design without much consideration for aesthetics. Lenovo released a model lately with specific mention to the effort it's made to create a refined design, and having a top bezel the same thickness as side bezels is one of the aspects. They're not making it up, the iPX was designed with this in mind, but of course the iPX has all four bezels the same thickness, aside from the notch.

On the other hand, Meizu 16's top and bottom bezels are symmetrical, and they also adjusted the curvature of the screen corners to make the whole design look more refined, and the side bezels are very thin, notably thinner than the competition.

Beyond the design, Meizu 16 has an in screen fingerprint scanner, a heat pipe for more stable performance, a haptic motor(not of the usual low end sort but closer to Apple's Taptic Engine), a much stronger flash, and stereo speakers. It's much more competitive.

This is 5.5 18:9 and 16 us specs (with decentish 2700 mAh) and I'm sold. Plus sd card (don't care if it's hybrid or dedicated)

This looks a lot like OnePlus 6 minus the notch :D anyway, the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage looks like a solid offering for 585 USD.
