I hope that, with this upgrade to Android 9.0 the sound in call would be better. When someone calls me, I can barely hear what the other person is talking. I don't know if it's only my phone or it's a general problem. All others functions are very good on this phone.

but about the camera in the phone being a selling point. If you're looking for
a phone with a good camera, Sony wouldn't be one the top five choices.
They won't be selling any phones to pixel peepers like me, especially since they
still haven't enabled RAW and offer no way for third party camera apps to have
control over the post processing.

As i said earlier, there are many many better alternatives. There are nokia, pixel, samsng, hwawei, xiaomi, etc.

Compare price the trolls say China phone is cheapest, compare features they say samsung etc more features, compare updates the trolls say Pixel and Nokia. But the trolls never say any cons for each brand they mentioned. Sony have score A to A+ for everything in all flagships, but other competitor take advantage in some sections but have some medicro and some more shortcoming too, why don't you dare to show the cons?! Just for the sake to underrated Sony?
All in all competitors well in tricky marketing, they should be score A++ for darkness marketing, I am not overrated it, as you can see Sony giving great and fast updates while the trolls still love to giving negative comments how envy they are?!

If You love pure stock android with fast updates, u better choose pixel/nokia.
If U love full featured android but with slower updates, u better choose sam/huawei.
If u dont care about features and just want cheaper price, u better choose xiaomi (or the other chinabrands).
How about sony? Ooops... most people avoid it
