    Karma at its best.
Samsung is busy bashing Apple in the US while slowly losing Chinese market. Good job Samsung!
Sooner or later, they'll lose Indian market too.

TPAA, 13 Aug 2018This is yet another example of a foreign companies being pu... moreCompanies like Samsung, Apple etc made Chinese companies strong. Where all these Chinese brands started? They started with coping big brands and low prices. But what is happening lately - even those Chinese brands start to rise prices, so pretty soon even their profits will slow down, especially knowing that they don't have very good customer/technical service in many counties, like Apple or Samsung do.

Short term remedy is offering giveaways.

Long term remedy is to close factories and restructure current management.

          But,

The only solution for them is:

Bring quality Mid-Range Android One with LOW COST to buyers.
This will solve the straggling market share situation.

Samsung just put too much marketing effort in the flagship phones and those are very expensive and people look on chinese brands for better prices. Samsung seems to forgot the mid end models of their phones, i think if they can offer better features and prices on mid end phones, they could recover some of the marketshare.

Samsung looses it‘s market to Huawei and Xiaomi
-> Samsung produces ads to attack apple

                            Samsung's move is strategic.

India and China are huge markets. But difference is- there are no strong Indian competitors, like it faced in China. Hence, it's easy to put the efforts and energy, with low risk of losing grounds to locals. Only Xiaomi can upset Samsung in India.

India being a price conscious market, it's logical to have a manufacturing setup to cut down the costs. This unit will take care of Indian demand as well as other countries demand.
So no point in putting resources in China.

By the way, Samsung will be in game for long time. Reasons are simple -
                            - it's prime supplier for the vital components of the mobile industry to most of OEMs. Its Mobile division just comes in as a sort of byproduct.
                            - it has diverse business portfolio, to sustain.

It's interesting, isn't it? The manufacturers were doing very well, when they were producing 1-2 million phones in Korea, Japan, Germany, Finland, USA ... But they "can't keep up with the costs" now, when they are selling 70-80 million units made in China and Bangladesh.

Stealing IP and recreating replicas in India will not happen due to reasonable legislations in favor of corporations, also Indian tech industry has not caught up like China to compete against big shots like Samsung. IP laws are generally in favor of big corporations like Samsung, LG, Nokia etc...but not in favor of someone like Apple....

slowly they go down :))), but i hope it will be faster they make really good products but low quality no matter what they say

It is adamant to close the factory rather than incorporating OIS and auto focus for front and rear cameras and audio enhancement chips in all the phones of Rs.10000 and above.

China just has way too many companies competing in the same place. Companies like Huawei and Xiaomi who understand the Chinese market used cheap but powerful to their ad. Samsung didn't survive because they're doing average and expensive on most of their midrange and budget. They need to do the same as Xiaomi and Huawei
