Chinese companies can push out from China any international company if they want. You can't compete with China. Look on supermarket shelves.... except groceries everything else is made in China.

Samsung is acting like Nokia in 2007 and 2008 we are big and we can do what ever we want to do,and we dont care about the rest of competition,we all now results of that behavior......and just a couple of years after...

Lots of political motivations behind many Korean companies exit from China. Just go to the some of the forums and see how much anti Korean voices there by the Chinese, not even funny

I called it before long. Samsung is the new Nokia. As Nokia was a shadow of its former self , so Samsung would soon be. And who know they may end up even having a Chinese copycat like New Nokia (or Fokia) is. It would be Fakesung .
If they keep producing overpriced garbage they would soon be nothing...

tbh, I don't like Samsung for their pricing but I like how they cram freatures into their flagship.
I wished they should reconsider their midrange line-up for another research and development as they're not pricing accordingly and the specs as so-so to so-low.

It all depends on time, if you don’t change, you become history. Once upon a time HTC was the king, it didnt implemented changes over period, its going down.
Same is with Samsung. In order to compete with Apple and the greed for more and more profits, it is ignoring its mid segment phones which were its strength, but not now anymore.
Huawei has the better understanding of the market, and is doing exceptionally well. Only if it continues doing so...

maybe sammy dosen't know their phones are expensive and that their midrangers lack tech that the competition is providing. sammy needs to invest in researching how to satisfy their customers and potential customers.

The fact of the matter is whatever Samsung develops, Chinese brands will be able to just rip-off and sell for cheaper. There is no point in racing to the bottom in a rigged market (where the cheaters get all the profits vs. the guys ponying-up for all the heavy lifting), so I actually salute them for the clarity of mind needed to make this decision.
