Now this is what I call the bang-of-the-buck warlord. At $300 it set at the same price as the Mi 3 back then. Hopefully those offline retailers don't drive the prices too high

No LTE Band 4 is the deal breaker for me. Because all the rest (except for the notch) is exactly what I want. I don't care about ceramic or metal in a case ;). I just want a phone with big battery, fast processor, ROM XDA community and a headphone jack and a good camera for a decent price. The price of this device is perfect.. Unfortunately the LTE Band 4 is the main band where I live in canada.... :(

$300 and no NFC? That's a deal breaker, I was seriously considering getting this phone then I found that out. It has basically everything else too, headphone jack, expandable storage (which the Mi A2 was stupidly lacking), and ir blaster. But no contactless payment support in 2018 is a joke

Honestly I fail to see the downsides of the notch if software support is decent and allows you to hide the notch. If there was no notch that would just be wasted screen space.

Just compare the Poco F1 to the Mi A2. I would take the Poco any day.

[deleted post]If you are referring to people who put cases on their phones because they cannot afford to replace their phone at least once a month in case it gets damaged (thus unable to afford the device they own), then yes - that is more embarassing than owning something that says "pocophone".

It can even be given away for free, I would still not use something called "pocophone". Too much embarassment over the name when anyone asks what phone it is.

Everyone Complaining About The Display Should Read The GSMArena Review Of This Phone First. According To Them This Screen Has Better Sun Light Legibility Than Mi A2.
