nice one GSMARENA. now you have shattered the whole community because of pointing that Samsung might really did infringe some patents. the chief of Samsung only expressed his answers with a sarcastic manner "We will see if (the Galaxy Nexus) will be 100 percent free from Apple lawsuits." which shows how apple did and truly did put all it efforts to slow down the flow of Samsung. anyhow my the best man wins.

It isn't like i really care, I was just reading through the comments and it seemed like the former rather than the latter. Not only that, they also have literacy skills of a 2nd grade child. I think trolls make the comment section of any site interesting, it's just sad when it's harder to comprehend their comments vs. comprehending the meaning of life.

it does not really mean Samsung is admitting. but when judges "decide" that Samsung copied Apple, it means something has to be done about it. IMO, apple's claims are just lame

Samsung could say it literally and the fanboys will continue to deny. Most sites already accept this as a tacit admission on Samsung's part. Just accept it.

Come on GSMarena, why are you so anti-Samsung lately?
It's impossible to predict because there are thousands of ridiculous patents, so even developing something by yourself from the very beginning it's hard to avoid infringing these ridiculous patents. Also, I'm pretty sure that it was made with those patents in mind, they were trying to avoid doing things in a way that was patented but you can't predict if Apple will sue them anyway, and that's what he meant.

Android avoided Apple patent infrigement but intruded on Microsoft's. Did you see the people's hub, etc...? Nokia's WP will be killing when it's out!

Its laughable that most people are now saying samsung has admitted to infringements when that is far from reality. They have admitted nothing, their comments relate only to the new device not past devices.
Wake up people and remember that if microsoft hadn't bailed out apple all those years ago apple would be nothing more than a distant memory

Microsoft and every other company reach agreements where other companies that use their "patents" pay money to Microsoft, but Apple does not want to make any agreements with any competitor, but they act like stubborn children when they try to ban every competitor that use "Apples" "rectangular" shape, and it does not even have to have the exact dimensions because they want to ban any rectangular shape as they ban Galaxy Tab 10.1! Apple copy Android when they "developed" the latest iOS, and Siri is a copy of Vlingo, and iPhones are just copies of other touch-screen that was released before iPhones ever existed...

He is not saying that they purposely infringed on any patents before. what he's saying is that you can infringe on someone else's patent without knowingly doing so, because of the complexity of identifying which patents belong to a particular company. I think you are being a little naive if you think there multi billion dollar companies out there that always act with a morale compass

Even the iXxxx moniker is stolen from BMW's iDrive interactive dashboard system. Jobs 'thought' of the iPhone name in 2007, but BMW held the TM for iDrive in 2001.
