You can buy boring black android-looking form factor WP7 phones from HTC or Samsung if you don't want Nokia.

Nokia will still sell bigtime. It's the sad reality of anti-nokia fans.

Are you sure you're not confused with the HTC/Samsung/Android combo ??? 11 months after its announcement, there are still phones in the US which haven't been updated to gingerbread, and most likely never will.

The Nokia 800 (pictured above) will be a stock standard Windows phone: 1.4Ghz Snapdragon (scorpion) processor, 1GB RAM, 8mp dual led camera with Carl Zeiss lens, 480 x 854 (Clear Black Display) screen, 3.9 inches (~251 ppi pixel density).

The 12mp module found on the N8 will likely be reserved for next year, probably after Windows 8 is released. Unlike crapdroid, Microsoft are determined to develop the OS properly so that the software can actually utilize both cores in a productive way.

                  Guys pls help me.
Till now im confused with homescreen of windows phone. I havent seen network bars, battery indicator or even operator logo on screen. In all the videos only live tiles(green colour) is shown. I dont know whether thats the homescreen or it is different. I always prefer screen to be well organised just like android and symbian belle where We can see analog clock, FB,Weather, email updates etc. this windows mobile has very odd big tiles.

... and here ends my love for nokia phone (unless I'll be able to hack them and put meego on them ... :D)

I'll buy a windows phone only when there wouldn't be something else on the market (although I don't like iPhone, it will be better than windows phone ...)

Can't they do just one phone with dual boot: WP7 and Meego? So you could switch Os's whenever there's one a step ahead.

Times have changed for Nokia and Microsoft

They both have learned their lessons. updates will follow as soon as Microsoft releases an update just like Mango update for all 1st generation WP7 phones.

Look at Nokia, they released Anna few months ago and now they will release Belle very soon.

They have no choice, they have to be uptdate with updates and market situations. the only thing is the pricing as Nokia is too rigid with pricing.

At least with WP7 you get direct updates from Microsoft unlike Android which users gets their updates a year or more after a new releases. that is why they depend on XDA developers community and they have to void their warranty in order to get the latest insecure and incomplete updates.

Only thing Microsoft and Nokia have to sort is their Apps and Markets

Question.is there away we can make win7 to all the nokia smartphone??thats with time to also let other customers using our nokia smartphone enjoy the service

I don't see this one selling good in USA and Europe. This midrange Nokia is gonna sell truck loads in Asia, South America and Africa. I hope Nokia will be intelligent with their pricing.

The one thing i really like is the integration of the social network and the people's hub. Mango is really a smooth experience and the homescreen is the most lively-est of all operating systems available. And the quality of hardware nokia support is awesome along with the microsoft's software it will be one of most wonderful thing to have.
