I know it will never be possilbe for nokia to go for Anriod as they are rivals in the market. So NOKIA, if you are listening, bring something is better than Symbian.
NB: Windows 8 will also not be upto the mark to compete Anroid.

I loved Nokia but there's currently nothing to compete with Android and iOS. Nokia seriously should have focused on n900/Meaemo/Meego markets to develop them without just letting the n900 down totally. Now you suffer NOKIA

Nokia will continue to downfall, company like Samsung/HTC can come out with a Windows Smartphone, so what make them special.
They must come out with a revolution product like iPhone. They should not waste time up with product that is basically a Clone Windows Phone.

Anonymous, 22 Oct 2011i am a big fan of nokia and seeing its recent market positi... morewhy should Nokia opt for a vulnerable os when they have symbian and meego which are not prone to viral attacks. and at the same time sacrifice battery life with a big cpu, those who want and can afford can go for the tablets

This is what happends to the companys that wont listen for their customers. Nokia & Sony Ericsson, both are going to end their legendary past. SE has move for china and produsing low quality phones. Androids arw good, designs are eye candy, great performance. BUT durability and customer feedbacks are sucks. They are not ready to update their old phones as they in need to sell their new ones. And the Nokia. Moved to the china,india,koria,cambodia. And the quality of their previous finland,hungary made phones are now find in no where! And with anna,belle? This is 2011 and its allready over. Even the Siri has came. But nokia isnt ready to give a good fight yet. Im a fan of both nokia and se. But now im thinking twise before i go for a one, so sad

decision making is important here, the question is how long nokia will stick with their Symbian OS??? why nokia dont try to launch Android OS to their device? if Nokia do that, im pretty sure that Nokia lovers will stick forever, and its sounds awkward and i know that nokia start having Symbian OS to their device, my opinion is why dont you try for something new?

i lost faith with nokia already after the glorious N82 days. i probably not getting another nokia handsets ever again due 2 their smartphone sucks compare with apple samsung HTC blackberry n others.

nokia will die! but not because the phones they create are bad, they are top quality and durability (each one for the price range it represents)! nokia's death is bad os when others have taken mobile devices to their limits nokia still offers basic with a little bit of remake. when you see ios or android developing and fighting each other you know nokia is out of the game with symbian and WP7(too late) market is shaped...

[deleted post]Mate, I like the WP7 UI, and I'm really hoping for it to succeed. However, it's not possible to have two completely different UIs--one, a tiled, large-font interface, the other, an icon-driven, small-font interface--for the same, individual OS. And then there might be a third group that would prefer a different UI all together. What do you do then? You surely cannot cater to their wishes, too, can you?

Nokia does have the best hardware in the market! it survived the1 time i caused it to have a pretty bad fall and the scratch resistant surfaces (body and screen) is like nothing i've seen before. the plastic windows & andoid phones shatter into pieces when they fall, but at least their screens stay somewhat intact unlike the iphone's which smashes like a busted windshield! ha! Apple lied about having gorilla glass! shame on you lemmings for falling for that!
