Competition is always good for consumers. It is what keeps a steady flow of appealing products come out one after the other from rival brands. If this phone is what it takes for other such brands to start offering flagship specs at this price point, then so be it!

Ok this price is equal to 350€ in my country. So better to buy the J6 with half the price and better Screen and even better Brand.

Sony phones are also made of polycarbonate materials in the past, but we know how much better are they as compared to Samsung's, who had to use metal and glass to compete in the premium segment.
Say for instance, I have seen some people still using a Xperia Z3 naked but without any scratches or scuffs whatsoever, but can't say the same thing for Galaxy S5 users.

Now I am using S7 and honestly glass back looks pretty and luxurious, but cleaning it is a pain in the a*s.
And my phone spends 95% of its time in a case, I cannot see the glass back of my phone at all.
So yeah, I completely agree with you that the polycarbonae back is BETTER than glass back.
Combine it with metal frame, and we got a sturdy phone.

Oh, so now you want a polycarbonate back. There was a time circa 2014, when all these sites used to bash Samsung & the others for using polycarbonate back, so much so that they completely wiped it off on nearly all models.
Metal & Glass feels & looks good, but polycarbonate is more rugged. Users should have both choice. Plus with polycarbonate backs, you have a better chance of removing the battery.
It's true. You only know the value of something, when you don't have it.

For the people who hate Poco's polycarbonate back , Xiami is offering armoured back cover for Rs.799 and other skins (wooden , soft matte and glossy ) for Rs. 299 !

The pocofone will be the main chooice for teenager.
Rather than buying midrange android or 5 years old iphone. Teenager will line up to buy pocofone.
