So only the camera gets an upgrade, and maybe the storage (and the price). All else remains the same as in XZ2.

One more garbage with big bezels, no 3.5 mm jack, terrible fingerprint scanner placement and crazy price tag. And of course Sony style has died as well. Good job, Sony. With every phone released on the market you make a big step to closing mobile phone business direction. Isn't it a time to fire all the managers responsible for idiotic decisions?

The H8416 is 6GG/64GB.
H9496 has oled and 8GB/128GB

Look where those failed experiments have led them. The new generation will look as great as XZ2 or even better, they are back to Sony design now.

Being a Sony fan, I won't have too high expectations on this new sensor. It would be good, but it will take a few more generations before it becomes perfect.
Just like IMX400 was utilized perfectly in the XZ2 series despite being introduced with XZs and XZ Premium.
IMX300 of the Xperia Z5 wasn't so great, but is very solid on Xperia XA2 series.

Hopefully they got rid of that butt ugly Ambient Poo er I mean Flow design. Sticj with the Loop design but make it slimmer, thats what people want.

Getting hungry for this beast, hopefully with better optics and sony's new sensor. Might be even more satisfying than xz2premium, if with better hdr and a lot more pixels, which I like a lot. Raw would be probably too much but I will wish for it. Would surely miss hi res screen and big battery, but thinner(than new xperias) body is better, at least based on leaks when comparing to premium.
Hopefully they wont stop at camera as the only new feature.

What I see here is that Sony is using a different front and back color, the front seems to be always black now. Sony was one of the few left that used to have the entire phone under the same color, and the Deep Green XZ2 for example is beautiful. Nevertheless, it looks like it will be a great phone, and the subtle design changes are nice.

It looks nice, the only thing I don't like is the fingerprint scanner placement again. At least Sony isn't following the stupid notch trend.
