I have seen lag on an iPhone myself that is not even subjected to the special Apple treatment of slowdown. A 6 month old iPhone 8 at that. Android comes in various price bracket based on hardware prowess.... If you compare the S8's and S9's the pixels of android they stay daisy fresh as long as you you use them with supported software and official updates.... Even if an android did get slow down as time lapses as per your assumption then backing up data and resetting to factory settings will restore phone to full operating speed again.... Can't do anything like that with the slowdown that caps max hardware capacity like the crap apple delivers to older iphones.....

While a 4 year old iPhone is pretty much better/faster than 50% of current android production phones.
So yeah... I would say natural slowdown because the coders did a poor job is absolutely worse than being able to toggle the throttling feature on/off on an iPhone.

Analyst forgot to mention a minor detail, this iPhone will create massive wave of upgrades because 12 to 18 month old devices will be slowed down with the next iOS update anyways :P .... No matter what apple says or does post that controversy, I can't get my head around the fact that those snobby fuc*ers actually had the gall to slow down older devices on the pretext of battery (and how Li ion batteries degrade as if it's new knowledge, a good ol' throwback at "you are holding it wrong" controversy... lol...) and well being of end users because their shiny 700$ phone won't suddenly shutdown at 40% battery just after one year....
Amazing how quickly people forgave them.... If it was a genuine mistake i would put it behind but the 'geniuses' at Apple knew what they were doing and avoided telling people for about 10 months at least.... Unforgivable in my books!!!.... Con artistry at its best....

I will buy an iPhone8 - next year.
Or one of these models, I'll see. But I believe Apple will have sucess with this.
I switched to iOS by unplanned line of events and I fell in love with it, I kind of feel at home on iOS so I just can't see myself on Android anymore.
Not that Android is bad, I just prefer iOS.

I am an android (lg g6) user and an ios (iphone 8 user).
One "like" about android is the customization. One "dislike" is the software update is only for 2 yrs for the device. For ios, one "like" is the continuous software update for the device. One "dislike" is the boring fonts...can't customize it.

The iphone is just on my bag all the time. The only good thing about this iphone 8 is games, it looks better on my iPhone than the s9. Camera s9+is far better than the ip 8+ for me. The best thing about the iphone is the depreciation value,i bought mine last year and until now it still the same price compared before which is a great booooo for shamesung. To sell they need to lower the price,unlike iphones. Even its expensive people are buying it. Bottomline I like samsung(features,camera,battery). Performance they are on par. User friendly i go with samsung. iPhone are very strict with contents,not for average joe.

As it's common knowledge when a new Apple atricle is uploaded, the comments section gets flooded with trolling haters.
If everyone made grownup comments then people would respond positively.

I have owned quite a number of sd cards before and none has failed me because I bought them from reputable stores.
