Performance on the Antutu benchmarks SD636 have 116 000 while SD625 is 76 000. Thats still performing better then KIRIN 659 that is in Huawei P20 Lite and that cost 100 euro more then what you get the SD636 cpu phone with. P20 Lite has around 88 000 score for Antutu v7
Show me one phone that i can buy for maximum of 180 euro and has better performance then SD636 with 4000mAh battery that is released in 2018 and has the latest android 8.1 on it

Now i really understands whyy Xiaomi wil be top selling brand in next few years.
All other so called competitors can close its bussiness and start something tottaly different.

Oppo Find X lamborgini edition cost 2200 and have no IP68.
Nor even Razer phone for 800 bucks.

The cores are old a53 derivative compared to newer n better a55 on 670 and 710. A75 compared to A73. Also improvements in every other aspect, battery life, size, performance, a. I., ram speed, everything. Its the new generation. Sd625 to 636 has less step forward. SD636 to 670 is hugeee step.
Overall SD636 is outdated and expensive.
And by the way even tho they are 4G, 5g won't come until few years more at least on average. Somewhere even 5 years more.

dirt cheap. it will spread out like a virus among kids and teenagers. They simply destroyed the market with this phone. I wonder what will happen with Mi 8?

Love the Community, 27 Aug 2018SD636 is not old and outdated. That SoC belongs to the same... moreSD 636 is old, it's build on 3 years old process 14nm. SD 670 and SD 710 are on 10nm. That means more performance and better battery life plus improvement in Ram speed and other stuff. All that on just little bit more expensive. On top of that you get newer kryo 360 cores that are a73 customizer and newest A55 customised. Even more performance and batter efficiency. Plus machine learning and all new tech. To buy now a phone with old SD636 is just stupid as it will feel outdated almost imidiately.

CherryPie., 27 Aug 2018SD636 is old. Sd710 is the soc to look for. SD625 is old and not SSD636 as it's not yet floated all the market with that CPU like SD625 has and thats 2-3 years old CPU while SD636 isnt even year old.

I don't understand who the f*** has said that the phone is priced under $200 in India. It's Rs.21000 ($302 / €260 / GBP233). So most of the countries are getting it at a fair price!
