28 August 2018
The Poco appears solidly built with many screws holding it together and it looks surprisingly easy to repair.

Robbie , 28 Aug 2018I wouldn't go that far. Still fantastic value thoughBut i will considering the fact that the more expebnsive version of note 9 cost 1000 more bucj compared to poco.
But Note9 havent anything worth 1000 more bucks.
It can have S Pen bixby best screen IP 68 stereo speakers etc but nothing of that is worth 1000 more bucks. Trust me.

Anonymous, 28 Aug 2018Of course . . . as a game-piece for kiddies, but not ... moreThats note 9. Poco cost 300 note 9 cost 1300 the version with bigger disk space but compared to Poco it have nothing worth 1000 bucks.
No S Pen even best display on the market bixby stereo speakers and IP68 arent worth 1000 more bucks compared to 300 for poco.
Also Poco is much cheaper for repairs when at 1300 price tag many will consider insurace which will make the phone much pricier.

I can really understand people who using Note instead of PC but for those who just wants to look jealous among the friends and on the streets the 1300 bucks are waste of money.

I ordered it (it should arrive next wednesday in Serbia) , over Mi8 , because larger battery , 3.5mm audio jack, and when i noticed those 2 screws, I thought, well , battery should be easy to replace if needed. It's nice to know I got it right about those screws!

They are obviously pulling a marketing term here, and, to your surprise, a LOT of people is actually buying that crap when its the same thing that has been used for years, a simple heat pipe.

The one who charges most from end consumer (Apple) is also the one who pays the least for parts and assembly, even child labour has been proven to be present in Apple's supply chain.

Every now and then people investigate and articles and documentaries show us this. Apple then holds a press conference to inform of new procedures and regulations, all on paper of course. Nothing about the one thing that would help promote ethical production from extraction of raw materials to complete assembly, more money to suppliers and assembly per unit. Which they easily could afford.

Perhaps only when the whole process gets done by machines will Apple's phones come without blood and abuse as ingredients.
