HTC U12 Life will have a Snapdragon 660 chipset instead of a 636

Contrary to what early rumors claimed, Geekbench shows the phone will pack the more powerful chipset. The U12 Life will be unveiled in two days.

      Well i wonder HTC is still making a phones.
      With their problems and loans this is the maybe last phone made by HTC from HTC line.

        Yeah... NO! Snapdragon 636 has the same motherboard (name at least: sdm660) as 660, if it'd be 660 the multi-core score would be around 6k

          No. That's SD 636 results. Same as Moto G6 rumors back the. You didn't learn anything

              Good. SD660 is far better than SD636. Other specs seem fine too if the price is reasonable. One area where HTC always lags behind is battery endurance...

                better it would be newer snap 710/670 but also that 660 is way much better then older poor 636 ,congrats to htc ,they starting using brain finally ,hope price will be also normal like approx nokia 7 plus +-
