HTC U12 Life will have a Snapdragon 660 chipset instead of a 636

The HTC U12 Life is shaping up to be the company’s first phone with a Snapdragon 660 chipset. That’s what Geekbench is showing us, along with 4GB of RAM and Android 8.1 Oreo.

This is an upgrade over previous rumors that suggested a Snapdragon 636. The RAM is as rumored and while Geekbench doesn’t list built-in storage, it should be 64GB.

The Life is positioned as a “lite” version of the HTC U12+ flagship. From what we’ve glimpsed of its design through leaks, the front will look like the U12+ with a 6-inch 18:9 screen (1,080 x 2,160px).

However, the back will be very different – a mix of Pixel (a two-tone design) and the iPhone X (the camera). Speaking of, the dual camera is allegedly a 16MP + 5MP shooter, the selfie camera should have a 13MP sensor and an LED flash.

Don’t forget that the HTC U12 Life will be unveiled in two days.

Thanks for sending this in, Michael!

They can add SD845 as long as it wont have price of Pocophone it wont sell and this company days are numbered.

So this one is not HTC U12 Life then. U12 Life launched with SD636. This could be another soon-to-be-launched phone

well yeah , Older isn't the right word , he should of meant "inferior"
