      Beautiful... Love it!

What is the USP of this phone wrt Sony's former offerings.

I can't seen to figure that one out.

You even forgot how differenti... moreYou're illogical to think that Samsung could "copy" LG to re-build their phone design, re-create all of their stock software to accommodate the 18.5:9 ratio, shifting the phone's inner components in order to accommodate the new design, contacting case suppliers for the new redesign, in just a month, all because they "seen" the LG G6 in feb, and they release their S8 in March.

Flagships smartphone takes months or even years to create, and Samsung must have already completed the S8 design even before the Note7 was launched, since rumors of the S8 was already on the net at that time.

Well done Sony. You made me proud

Lead2XL, 30 Aug 2018Sadly, phones are getting not only larger but heavier - 193... moreChances are phones will get lighter once they can make more components smaller... the issue then become replacing defective parts.. unless you send it in for repair.. by a profession company.. so

MrGrumpy, 30 Aug 2018Utterly pointless brick of a phone. Where is the XZ3 Compac... moreXZ3 Compact is non-existent . Roland Q. has already confirmed D-1 that Compact isn't coming more this year . They already had one back then , the XZ2C , and they only release once per year with exception of Z1C to Z3C and XZ1C to XZ2C . So , you need to stick what they have now , no other than XZ3 itself . FM Transmitter should be still there , but side FPS is a hard thing now for Sony to bring back , as US regulator , then issues with mobile carrier or other things such patent issues blockage way Sony using FPS on the side.

Droid, 30 Aug 2018Stop talking rubbish. Lg g6 was announced feb 2017 and sams... moreAre you drunk or something ? You even forgot how differentiate between S8 and S9 just because it's minor changes ffs ..... Samsung S8 was released March 2017 and start selling in April 2017 , not freakin' 2018 . If you were talking 2018 , it was Galaxy S9 you were talking about and it was launched February this year and start selling in March , 1 day before XZ2 was released to the public , and LG G7 TQ wasn't even on the public radar till May 2018 . Even Samsung didn't said it copied or copied obviously LG , LG did it first in February 2018 in MWC and start selling by March 2017 , by giving it a hint before launch by introducing world's first 18:9 aspect ratio phone with bezel-less in 4 corners and rounded corners , so it was obvious S8 took a design-wise cue of LG by giving it rounded corners , just made it curved not to made it very obvious like XZ3 X S9 . Need proof ?

                        https://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_s8-8161.php (April 2017)
                        https://www.gsmarena.com/lg_g6-8466.php (March 2017)

I do admit Sony took cues from Samsung (so does Samsung from Sony with their 960fps Super Slow-Mo technology) , but i hope you were realizing something and admit it that S8 was in 2017 , not this year ffs.....

Although the design is nice, without the headphone jack and the OVERPRICING as usual by Sony, no buy. If Sony had restored the headphone jack on XZ3, I may overlook the price.

Old school. Nothing new marketing strategy. Just like XZ to XZ1. Not more changes.

Lg g6 was announced feb 2017 and samsung galaxy s8 march 2018. It’s impossible to copy a feature just in one month before release date. Samsung never copied lg for rounded corner or infinity display. Admit the fact that sony copied samsung’s rounded corner and edge screen.
