Yekaterina, 30 Aug 2018Definitely worth to buy this gorgeous device plus OLED from... moreXperia xz3 used lg oled panel ( lg v30) https://www.oled-info.com/lg-display-supply-sony-p-oled-displays-future-smartphones

There's no almost no difference between this and the XZ2. Come on Sony, at least you could have given us a pencil!

Why Sony has to be a bit behind the schedule with their model design?

Design would be perfect if it was just a bit thinner (7mm would be perfect) and I was expecting imx 586 with 48MP Quad Bayer sensor, I'm getting a feeling Mate 20 will use it

It looks amazing. Definitely the star of 2018. Great work Sony.

Ascheron, 30 Aug 2018To buy or not to buy, that is the question... My Xperia ... moremate, that's what i was thinking about my Z1 Compact when i upgraded recently. it has aged, noticably so, but it doesn't feel like it would die anytime soon. even the original battery is fine

When will it available in Qatar/ME?.

I don't use Sony and don't particularly like them, but damn this feels like a solid phone. Just needed to have 6GB RAM as the base. The design looks great.

Utterly pointless brick of a phone. Where is the XZ3 Compact? Come on Sony, we want small compact phones with a side fingerprint sensor and FM Radio.

3D Memories, 30 Aug 2018Exactly, it's a clone of Samsung Galaxy S8 or S9. It's like... moreFirstly . Well , hate to spoil the Ex Sony fans party over XZ3 copied design towards S8/S9 , but someone already did the same , i'll remind you again , that you forget about the things that should been given attention in first place . Even though XZ3 has similar design to S8/S9 like rounded corners and curved edges , don't forget tho that S8 rounded corners so-called "Infinity Display" is similar to LG approachment on its G6 'FullVision" in the first place , first phone with 18:9 , released at MWC 2017 and beating out Samsung a month prior to S8 launch , which is undeniable at all cost . So yeah , everyone in the world does inspired/copied/borrowed/steal a thing for inspiration for a thing , not only Sony in this perspective . Even Apple copied HTC One (M7) design for iPhone 6 sake , yet HTC was to accused in HTC One A9 back in 2015 for nothing . Sure , Sony does copies , but doesn't mean it's "always" .

And secondly , well , Sony already tried to keep the Loop Surface based OmniBalance design for another year to keep them unique from the market , last seen on XZ1 series for flagships , XA2 Plus for mid-ranger , and L2 for low-entry . But you already know for yourselves . Some jerk , unprofessional , paid and biased reviewers back in 2017 , bashes Sony a lot for keeping OmniBalance design prior to XZP , XZ1 and XZ1 Compact , even it's not and it's Loop Surface that just based on old OmniBalance and arrived for 6-12 months prior to original XZ launch , yet , because of that , Sony had no choice , but to change it to more controversial Ambient-Flow design based modernized Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V and Arc S , even when Loop Surface wasn't that old (well , Apple was worse tho , from iPhone 6 to 8 , differential wasn't too much either) .... Sony already know the consequences of it , one of it losing 10-30% of its loyal fans , but yeah , reviewers are point where phones are consider for people to buy . Xperia is no exception .

I know you disappointed , i know you hate it , i know you feel betrayed and so on . But if the world is so cruel towards Xperia , change is the only option and move-on and accept the change is the only positive respond you can get . You can argue with me if you want too , but i'll reply afterdays . So yeah , have fun and good day !

This is the first Sony phone after Xperia arc which looks good. Actually it's beautiful. Hope it's priced appropriately and released in my country.

WAPC1, 30 Aug 2018Apart from the new screen being OLED which I like, a shame ... moreYour right about the Phablet part. I don't like that phones are getting bigger and bigger. Phones are getting so big that soon they might not fit in your pockets anymore! What's worse that big phones are bulky! Cellphone manufacturers, please bring back small phones!

This is dope, all Sony need is dark theme UI for battery power efficiency.

Lg p-oled attract sony now.. No samsung amoled lol

suarez92, 30 Aug 2018Gonna stick to Huawei P20 Pro for a long time.... Hate cur... moreDesign is subjective, & i thought that this XZ3 perfectly designed (apart from that fps placement), definitely a lot better than XZ2 series.

I was just like u, left sony & now jump to huawei's, no regrets, best decision made. But there are still better things that i like on Sony than Huawei, their UI, icons, media apps (music, video, album) which hard to forget.

Using huawei device, i port my Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium theme to EMUI, give it a try

Wondering if that earlier announced 48mp camera sensor goes to Mate 20 Pro, since it absent on this XZ3.
