so I'm a Sony fan and I will tell you this, this OLED Sony has triluminos, but does the samsung AMOLED has QDs??
Also I will tell you yes I'm an LCD fan and always the LCD will be better even Sony joining the OLED club, it will have burn-ins so yeah sleep on that :)

They should make more competitive devices with reasonable price if they want to sell there devices

Okay. So I wish they left this panel flat. I wish they had 6GB RAM. I wish they bought back the headphone jack. Sony is making no money in the mobile division. They're in a position to do something different and still get...something. HTC on its midranger bought back the headphone jack and removed some features from HTC Sense that people hated. They even used real buttons. That's a company that is trying to show signs of life.

Its so beautiful I like how they manage it not to look like a S8/S9 unlike other brands.

i really want to upgrade my iphone to an iphone product, but i still cant absord the notch, its annoying, now im waiting for sony or samsung to release their flagship, xz3 or xz4 or s10 from samsung

and i was sure that they won't use the new sensor , my guess is that they will leave it for the XZ3 Premium , with 2 more rear camera sensors and the upcoming top end Snapdragon processor .

Gonna stick to Huawei P20 Pro for a long time....
Hate curved (edge) screens, because THEY CRACK EASILY.
Sony should just quit Smartphone market. Once I was Sony fan, my first Android device was Sony Z3 Compact. Good times.

Apart from the new screen being OLED which I like, a shame it's curved now it's like every other curved screen phone unintended touches galore. What a letdown. It's too big I hate this phablet craze. No headphone jack I hate BT headphones poor battery life and crap sound, small internal memory 64Gb just doesn't cut it, my music takes up just that should at least be double that(128Gb) preferably 256Gb as a minimum.
Not to mention Sony's complete reluctance to put dual camera's and OIS in any of their phones apart from the xz2 premium.
Hey at least they still do a slot for the microSD card shame it's hybrid and not a dedicated slot so that I could use my phone as a real dual sim phone but for how much longer before Sony ditches that too.
Rant over but Sony's drop the ball again. Disappointment really I might have to really bite the bullet buy the S9 at least I could put that in my pocket.

Switching to OLED is the wisest decision Sony made, especially going for a QHD panel instead of FHD. I also like the design of the phone. Looks modern and stylish. Haters gonna hate. This phone is a good one in my opinion, and I'm not even a a Sony fanboy!

If you consider it as a poor man's feature then I don't, it is a stupid idea to remove something if it is not being replaced with something more useful.
