I think it's hard to find the protector case for it because of its sliding form factor.. Hmmm

In a years time this will be to much bezel.. it must be edge to edge display with 100% s screen no border what so ever..

Why is everyone freaking out about sliders. Mechanical ones sure, but a standard slider is fine, and I say this as someone who owned an HTC S710, HTC Touch Pro2 and Xperia X1.
They all had sliding mechanisms for keyboards, which were used for more frequently than even the most ardent selfie-obsessed person, and I never had any issues with the sliders breaking or failing.

kiasunkiasi, 31 Aug 2018so you never video call?Nope, dont use facebook and messenger apps to. I use dolphin browser as a shortcut on my mobile desk. So i can check facebook and write messages when i want and never ever get this silly notifications... So u right ;-)

The notch is a cure to the bezel as much as if you'd cut off your head to cure a headache. The bezel is still there. The difference is just that you've now made your screen asymmetric at the specific edge where you really don't want that.

Notch is so damn ugly. Slider camera in the front and a sliding camera cover on the back is perfect. The mechanism of sliding up the entire module having both front and back cameras is not good since it will most likely reduce the structural integrity of the device. But we need camera covers (maybe microphone covers too!?) In this age when spying is so easy.

You may have not felt as pressing of a need but you well'd use the benefit of this bezeless future.
It's always like that, people complain ... and eventually adopt. How many had to set aside their nokias and start using apple like "toy phones".
This is -mostly- how evolution happens. Someone invents something, people resist it and then a company of two force it to people (because they don't know any better) and eventually people like it.
You have to be force fed a good diet of notches so that you may accept it basically.
