The Onplus 3T has the same problem. It is a simple software fix, but Oneplus never got around to doing it.

Poco is made for people who don’t want to pay money for a proper flagship so I am sure this target market is not going to pay for any video streaming service.

I didn't think I'd be saying this, but after seeing how Chinese phones are for well over a year, I advise you not to buy them. Minor bugs are the most prominent in such phones. And as it happens, minor bugs annoy me the most because you know that the company will delay fixing them because they're "minor".
OnePlus is different than your average Chinese brand. They made the right decision of expanding to the west, and are now influenced by it. Apart from OnePlus thoug, I would advise not to buy a native Chinese phone brand.
Thankfully I did not buy in to the hype and buy PocoF1. I don't use Netflix at all, but the bugs and inconvenience part I've come to realize more and more. Plus a PLASTIC built phone, from a Chinese company lol, what a joke. I know PocoF1 offers a lot, but personally it will annoy me in the longer run.
TL;DR Don't buy Chinese phones if you are annoyed by minor bugs, or if you plan to keep it for a longer period (except OnePlus maybe).

lol man, lots of insecure people or just astroturfers here, regardless of what you're gonna concern, this phone will simply turn lots of people away from stupidly overpriced 'flagships'
heck, the money saved from doing that could be better invested to get some cheap 4k tv to watch movies on comfortably instead on your overpriced brick's tiny ass screens lol

Typical copy cat brands with no R+D.
I'd rather buy a Sony, apple or Samsung

Sushant Sic, 31 Aug 2018That's fine with most of the people... I would not Pay 40K ... moreExcept a lot of people are NOT FINE paying for top quality Netflix when all they'll get with the Pocophone is quality objectively worse than most TV broadcasts!!!

That's fine with most of the people... I would not Pay 40K 50K extra on some other Flagship Devices for this reason...

By the way mostly i watch netflix on our samsung smart tv with only 55-in, in an unlimited 50Mbps data plan. Its enough i think.
Yeah, i recommend watching netflix or any other streaming apps on your tv on sundays or days off. Enjoy with popcorn.

According to my subscription in netflix, it says: ultra hd. I have a 1GB per day data subscription. My settings says save data when on cellular data. I think the video is just fine. So no problem with me because im using xiaomi redmi note 5 ai, if ill have poco f1 i will have the same experience.
I might reduce my netflix plan to just hd or 540p if that plan exist.
So really, for those saying that this cheap (inexpensive flagship grade) phone poco f1 cheated or will be doa, well no. Its up to the person using it, if he or she even watches netflix in hd.
And to those who are ranting, who have phones with L3 widevine, please this phone is not for you. Find something else.

But i have Netflix and i dont watch any video streaming sites on my mobile so i dont care much. I just say that when i dont see something im interested in Netflix i will get it other ways. But most of my TV channels have all the series i like on them and even some that air before they air in US or Canada. These that i dont see on TV i have in Netflix.
I am voting with my wallet if something isnt available then it's there loss and they cant complain about it if they want to live in stone age and not in present
