Faster way of getting brain cancer. 😀

Wow now we will see about the people who say that phone doesn't have 3.5 mm jack because this new aptX Adaptive will be in the high end processor and in the mid range processors. So now is i thing confirms Samsung might lose the 3.5 mm jack

To anyone even remotely acquainted regarding the situation it's known that QC is a pandan of a Intel in mobile world but it's even easier so for QC to be so as they didn't had any real complications in yours (after killing the competition). Unfortunately CAF is only breathing, living open source foundation for mobile SoC's.

.alpha, 31 Aug 2018You're welcome Android users. Apple showed you the way againLol, Why would we follow Apple,

Apple iPhones so far don't support hi-res audio out of the box, though there are ways around this by using the right app, and then either plugging in a DAC or using Lightning headphones with the iPhones' Lightning connector:

I also use the 3.5 mm jack to L&R RCA's or XLR to connect to my (or others) Hi-Fi amplifier.

I'd rather play all my flac and wav files, with the added benefit of no charging at all and completely unbackable.

Qualcomm, grow a spine. You can introduce better wire-less audio. But it doesn't have to be at the cost of the killing the versatile 3.5 mm headphone jack.

When wireless headphones get to the point that I don't need to charge them ever. Then I might consider them cause my wired headphones will outlast you all day every day.

Like Linus (creator of Linux OS) says: "Qualcomm, f*ck you!" Please stop pushing Apple's "COURAGE" cult mentality on people!! Qualcomm just wants your $$ to feed it's "fat cats"!! And yeah, Qualcomm has the audacity to disable comments on it's YouTube video to prevent criticism and the TRUTH of greatness of headphone jack. This is all done and planned by NWO to force people to "lose" their money and feed their coffers!! I read the article and is written by Jonny McClintock who is the Director of aptX Sales and Marketing. I am willing to bet he owns an iPhone 7 / 8 / X that does not have a headphone jack!! This means he DOES NOT understand the ground sentiment of people's annoyances for not having a headphone jack.

In conclusion, Qualcomm has "officially" joined Apple's "COURAGE" cult after ZTE did so for Axon 9 Pro. What a sad day for Qualcomm.

                            ...Just a thought for comparison:
How many would buy a laptop computer / tablet / phablet / phone you could not use when plugged in, where you would have to wait for it to charge?

                            ...I wouldn't !!

IF it had easily user-replaceable batteries, you could have spare batteries, and that would be acceptable, (Like most compact cameras)

Still no lossless. Toy to me.

And CERTAINLY not before it is better than what we already have!!

Offer BOTH options until the new technology is at the least as good in say 90% of normal use cases, and this is CERTAINLY not the case here.

It is like trying to replace a plastic bag with a 10 tonnes lorry. Sure it can transport your groceries, but is not very practical suited the purpose in daily usage.

Bluetooth headphones are way more costly than the wired ones, and will eventually die when their battery will die. I think thats a money grabbing strategy.

Our brain is constantly in a state of bother to keep our mobile phones charged, on top of that add headphones. I don't want to charge my headphone too. Plz stop this low-quality Bluetooth nonsense. I have decent IEMs like Shure SE215m+ and Vsonic GR07BE. All I want is a headphone jack. It's cheap and gives me high quality audio.

But I guess it would be really hard to squeeze in solid plugs in quite tiny earphones, so here we can not have that flexibility...

                                        F*ck you Qualcomm.

As if we didn't have enough electronic waste now we'll have hundreds of millions of BT headsets that people are getting rid of 'cause their battery died/deteriorated. Also, it's a lot easier to lose BT earplugs 'cause they are tiny and it's easy to lose track of them. Also, there's yet another piece of equipment I have to charge daily and have headaches remembering whether it's properly charged or not.
