Realistic1, 04 Sep 2018One question - "Why tho?" I would't want a folding phone... moreBecause some stupid chinese company out there keep making giant 7 inches phone! Samsung saving us with foldables. That the harsh way to explain it.

A.W.E.S.O.M.E!
I really hope it is real, solid innovation, that does not compromise any core functionality. Can't wait to see it in action.

Lol at people saying samsung should do this and not that. Sorry but you aren't industry giants. You know close to nothing about how the tech economy works on a daily basis and at the long run. You're nobody really. And then at the end of the day, samsung will make more money than you. So perhaps the ones needing to do this and not that are you.

marko97sx, 04 Sep 2018Why do we need this exactly?for the glory of satan of course!
LOL jokes (kuddos if you remember that meme)
on a more serious note, it could pave the way to a new form of phone design or be used as a basis for other products, maybe in the future it could be completely folded and flat/ feel like a small wallet in your pocket, then when it falls, you wouldnt cry looking at your cracked screen since its sandwiched, phablets becoming more poketable. its the first iteration of its kind anyway so time will tell where that could lead.

That makes the boring notch... moreAnd why invent an automobile when you already have this wonderful horse cart, right? /S
SURE this is a VERY early version, but once we get to shaper bends, this could be a revolution giving us back pocketable phone sized devices, that can unfold to phablet/tablet size.

Alien , 04 Sep 2018Nah, the NOtch is already a dead trend, adopted only by the... moreEvery big player, sans samsung, has embraced the notch.
Others that didn't embrace the notch are not even in top 10 smartphone vendors.
Your notch hate makes you blind.

One question - "Why tho?"
I would't want a folding phone personally, I don't think it'd be durable, place where it bends will most likley get damaged time... and the price will probably be insane...
