1 week ago my Android phone packed up on me. In fact it was an Htc which to be honest was crap at phone calls i never could hear people and people had trouble hearing me. As a stop gap i bought an Samsung Wave 2 as it was going cheap in Carphone warehouse. The screen is better the call quality is amazing but yeah they dont really have alot of apps. I once maybe 4 years ago did a video call i personally thought it was crap and thought i dont want to see the person that i am calling.

We move on and along comes Android and it really grown and developed but its funny how a £90 feature phone seems to respond and work better than any Android phone that i have had. Yep i had a big app store but alot of what was in there didnt work right and effected the performance of my phone all after a while i didnt use. if we take all the 1 star apps out of the Android app store or all the apps that you download but have to spend money to make the app work fully that would take out a third. Or dare i say lets take out all the apps that come up with force close there really wouldnt be alot left because without a doubt every app that i have used on Android has done that at one point. Every time someone makes a comment on phones that are not Android they always say Android has dual core Android has an 8 mega pixel camera. Ok enligten me Android user what app have you used so far this year in the market that requires Dual core? then you get others who say well dual core makes your phone run faster but it still lags i mean this super phone that was annoucned last week from Google after all the 2 million bits of code still lags when you scroll through a basic menu it got fitted out with a 5 mega pixel and people moaned it was not enough not realising that pixel count is far more needed in enlargment than in quality then people moaned that the werent of higher ghz but what are you doing with it going to the moon.
oh yea i forget you making a phone call texting and downloading apps.
but there no app in the market that even stretches the Dual core why because writing apps for Android is a pain in the ass. Nobody seems to want to pay for them and even when do sometimes apps get pulled. Google dose not check because in fact they dont care as long as they know where you are at all times and as long as they can boast of 550,000 phones sold a day they dont really care if your happy. The big thing with Google last week was being able to unlock the phone with your face and on stage that didnt work, ok so maybe it had something to do with the lighting but again on youtube several places i watched it didnt work to well. Yet Google tells everyone that windows is rubbish maybe with better phrasing and then goes on to use some of their ideas in how looks.

Yep i agree that WP7 does not have dual core but does it need it no. i agree that it does not have the biggest app store in the world but next year i am sure it will be in the 100,000 range. The that it does have and i dont know if i will buy one is scrolling that is buttery smooth things that open beatufully. yep it dose not have a microSD that never stoped Apple. For all the whistles and bells that Android has there are far to many Force closer signs far to many lags. Not enough high quality apps for me to really be botherd about if i have dual core or not all it is is braging rights. Google showed us this flag ship phone for ICS but is just a big black slab and its ugly.

I am on the fence as to what i will get next my feature phone will do till then.

It would seem that sometimes people who comment don't have a memory. Mr Elop stated that their would be about 12 handsets running WP7 from late 2011-2012 so far we have only seen 2 handsets.

why would you pay £440 for this when you can get top quality iphone for the same price. which wipes the floor.

me thinks this will flop. dont get me wrong the device actually looks smart not even a hint of apple here. unlike samsung.

Get ... morein terms of UI Wp7+ is ok, however in term of os functionality and communication features it is inferrior to WM 6 (!?!). Which is quite stupid and the big reason WP is considered a failure.

i have hd7 running mango....after some time it starts getting boring. the tiles only have 10 different colours.....only 4 of these 10 colours are decent. the rest are bright pink or other niusances.....the tiles need more colour options......u will have 2 unlock phone 2 install a 3rd party app for unlimited colors....wp7 is still too basic even with mango....for example the landscape keyboard is also too small/narrow....(not side to side like in galaxy s2)..........in conclusion wp7 mango is still too basic

A bit underwhelming seeing as it was promoted as the WP7 equivalent of the N9 when the specs put it somewhere below N9. Maybe the "real" N9 equivalent is coming in early 2012, which is the original timeline from Nokia.
