1.A front facing camera
2.More free apps(more apps in general)
3.An SD card slot

if Nokia and WP7 could come up with a phone with these features,it would be an instant hit....
come on Nokia,we've waited enough...

rsawoseyin, 26 Oct 2011In my view, Nokia still does not get it: (a) If you are tal... morei agree with the software criteria, but i have to strongly disagree with the size...a 4" display is more than enough for a smart phone....i mean , if it gets to >4.2" it's not a phone at all...it's a tablet...it would be a hassle carrying it around...i've got an Xperia X10 and I think it's the perfect size for a smartphone...nothing less, nothing more...I even wish SE releases a few more phones with the same X10 style...it's the most stylish Xperia phone...or in my eyes, the most stylish smartphone, more stylish than the iPhone.....

[deleted post]It does have multitasking and it's more efficient than Android's way and it conserves battery life.

Beautiful and powerful device. I'm so tired with Android slowdown and general flakiness. You never know when something will work or not and how much tweaking it is going to need.

This could be my next phone. The offline navigation is also a huge thing for me.

The price is very reasonable compared to the plethora of crappy android phones that sell for more and run on software that is now 12-18 months old.

I'll be getting one without any reservation.

Sails, 26 Oct 2011Switch to android? Seems to be such a great deal for LG, Mo... moreHow does Windows 7 differentiate nokia in any way from HTC and Samsung and others ?? No matter what Micro$oft says, its years behind both iOS and Android. In the market of Mobiles, this is an eternity. Micro$oft could care less if it fails, its just in the game for fun. For Nokia, this game is everything. Experimenting with An OS this late in the game is suicide. Even worse, they have no Plan B [ They killed both Meego and Symbian]. Stephen Elop's is a double agent for his previous employers, Micro$oft. He should get fired.

Wp7 Mango is great, It runs really well, and smoothly. Get past the squares and you'll find it's a fantastic OS. On the 800, it will be awesome!

I'd buy into this, as an alternative to Android, because it's only the beginning.

s60 and meego would have caused more damage than this Microsoft mango or is it 'cheery'?.., maybe a 'bannana' will be preferable, he he!... well, on a serious note, with the rapidly developing Andriod platform, Microsoft will want to play catch up, which will affect Nokia adversely! so my question is why developing a big idiot! when you have productive seeds???
