My favourite two phone series are the Samsung's Note and LG's V-series, because they provide the least compromises. But you are right, the Note4 and the LG V20 represented the end of an era, being the last devices with a removable battery. I really hope against hope that they would bring removable batteries back.

Kangal, 07 Sep 2018The WORST part about the PocoFone is that they justify the ... moreIP rating, wireless charging are not features at this price point. Non-removable battery has become a std. as it can help a slimmer form factor. One cannot complain too much about the notch either as it has become a "trend". I just wish they could include OIS, and HD stream support.

I like Angie more than pocco

IMHO, Xiaomi has put a great price for a really feature rich capable phone except for three:
            # No OIS
            # No HD streaming support
            # Notch
I can live with no IP rating, no 1440p, no AMOLED, no dedicated microSD, but won't buy a phone with the above limitations. So, Poco is no for me. Asus 5z is obviously better (except for notch).

Luckily though online repair reviews show it takes less than a few minutes to pop it open to change the battery so I can accept that. Vs Samsung and Apple that hide it under layers and layers of glue that cracks glass when opened.

kangal......u r ri8 buddy @300$ they should have given ip68,78,98 and ip 1000 and they should also provide removable battery with built in arc reactor,a high oem earphone, space grade titanium build quality with unbreakable glass + 1000gb ram ,100000 terabite memory,100k dispay and 10000 megapixel camera and snapdragon x1000 all that for just @300$.

this phone looks like a mi mix 2 - only with a notch - for no good reason. But yeah, a price like this justifies every stupid design, so its fine.

The WORST part about the PocoFone is that they justify the Plastic Back for a lack of IP68 waterproof protection. And, amidst this Wireless Charging becomes collateral.

Yet, they couldn't think to even out those tradeoffs by making the battery REMOVABLE.
(There's millions of NOTE 4 and LG V20 owners out there looking to upgrade).
