The Chinese company hints that its Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro will take you "beyond intelligence".

The iPhone X is only an improvement of Essential Phone. And Apple actually copies Huawei with the Dual Camera Setup. You're saying Huawei and Samsung only sell too much because they're producing cheap phones, nothing special.
Let's talk about the Huawei P line, the best for photography, or the Mate line, for professionals with good photography and performance.
In Samsung side look at what S line became, like S9 plus, an extremely good smartphone, or the Note 9.
Apple is good, very good, I agree, and their IOS system is very well optimized. But, the phone doesn't worth the price they are asking, weak battery, the camera isn't the best, the screen the same, the sound equal...
In these days, people buy an iPhone to show "social statute".

    This is funny given how they copied Apple's notch, have been found benchmark cheating, removed the ability for the end user to unlock the bootloader (even though Honor readded this feature back for a short time), and was found faking their photographs. Huawei needs to chill. Wake up when they could do something like Vivo. And even still, Vivo has a headphone jack! If only Vivo fixed that software...

        That's how Xiaomi is growing so freaking much.
        The phones they sell are good, but they sell mainly for the price.

        First one, NO. They dont have any original looking phone, not the mate, not the P, nor the novas.
        Second, their flagships have ok specs, good cpu, good ram but their gpu is really, really bad though. In a flagship you need the best of the best.

        Are those cheaper? Well yeah. If they price them like apple or samsung nobody would buy them with Xiaomi or OPPO on the next side.

          Apple is smart... really, Apples customer is not, taking that many money for a product that is only 20-30% worth the selling price, only say they are smart. one must say they take advantage of the weak ones, which unfortunately can not see, even if they are taken in the behind.

Ur funny, im sure we all know Huawe... moreI'd say the reason they are no.2 is because of them releasing a flood of different phones that span every market, from budget to flagship. Also, it's the aggressive marketing and overhype that they like to create. For example, when the kirin 980 was announced, they bragged that it set 6 world records, of which at least one (first 7nm chip) was false. So, they are clearly trying to create hype and reel in the uninformed buyers. Even when the company announced it was no.2 and it's huge plan to become no. 1, it's probably so they can look good to people that don't know about phones and say "hey, we are the biggest company"
            I feel like this tweet is trying to create the same effect. Early renders of the Mate 20 still show a huge notch that is similar to the iPhone X, and specs pretty similar to the P20 and Pro. So, I guess they are being the hypocrite here

                  Couldn't have agreed with you any better. Because if it actually took them less than few years to knock Apple off the no. 2 position, and doesn't even sell in the US market, then it goes way beyond. They're only the few truly innovative.

                            Wich by the way is way less expensive and way waaaaay, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than iCrap.

                            At least some brands dont get the hype of stealing people because they have done a fkng huge bicycle wheel plant and now have to pay it and then use the new phones to give it a little pricier to cut loss in the building.

                                And I guess this year the mate 20 will fly a fighter jet and avoid flying ducks.

                                I know the mates are good phones in general. But the strange mix of last year's mates was downright awkward. Let's hope they don't keep things the same this year as well
