    Title: People will no longer provide their hard-earned money for the iPhone! :P

      That's why Apple should be never considered user friendly and only thinking about money grabbing opportunities. They realised they can't make money if their phones offering Jack and people will buy headphones for they licking, so apple ditch it and now forcing to buy their crappy airpods or any other crappy Bluetooth headphones, which need to be charge and if battery breaks, replaced with new ones and worse, getting consistent radio waves to your head, well done Apple!

                Their dongle had a very mediocre DAC inside anyway. It wasnt just bad, it was worse than most low end Android phones, like a Galaxy J5 for example.
                Maybe now people will buy 3rd party dongles and experience true audio quality.

                  The ipX takes even longer to charge if you use it and you have to use it because it takes forever.

                      I'd rather have 32-bit bluetooth audio like on the HTC U12+ with Sony's LDAC technology.

                        I use a bluetooth headset for convenience most of the times, yet I sometimes enjoy the higher quality of my 3.5 mm headphones. I think this is more to do with marketing or at least with poor design and engineering. The Jack should stay.

                          2018: 3.5mm jack to adapter sold separately

                          2019: Airpods sold separately

                          2020: Charger sold separately

                          2021: Return of removable battery, and yes, battery sold separately

                          2022: iOS not pre-installed, sold separately

                          2023: iPhone exclusive cellular network, cellular tower sold separately

                            Well I was still using it... I'm glad I have my iPod Classic. And to be honest I'm not a fan at all of the Bluetooth earplugs... Not as reliable as the cable and definitely drains less battery...

                              And now the rest can follow suit.... This is why i will hold on to my current phone till it brakes, rounded display corners, glass all over, and lack of headphone jacks plus that f'in notch ....

                                Anonymous, 13 Sep 2018 Whith those small batteries i gues slow charging will be f... moreiPhone X with 2716mAh takes 3h to fully charged. My S7 edge with 3600mAh takes 1h 20min to fully charged. That's a shame.
