13 September 2018
All models come with the same 5W charger.

jtrogr, 15 Sep 2018I just love the fact that people defend a brand that gives ... moreYeah those Samsung fans are something else.

As for this phone. It gives you a lot more than any other in the price range. Especially XR

SoC from 2 years in the future with as a result actually useful AR (the BBall app for example).
Passive biometrics that is still matchless.
Probably the best camera thus far
All screen phone (no ugly chin)
Actually smaller than Note 9 (Xs Max) despite the bigger screen.

Indeed those Samsung fanobys are getting specs from two years ago and still paying through the nose.

Some companies make products to make the people's lives easier. (Also money lol)

Some companies make products purely for money.

Your jab at my English also makes no sense when your own English is written like that of a child.

ProtonMail is an encrypted e-mail service made by privacy advocates from the Swiss-based nuclear research lab CERN. Your "ROFL !!!" spells ignorance on your end.

The iCloud service is unbreached and doesn't steal your data or invade your privacy. The celebrity photos you're likely talking about were accessed via targeted phishing attempts. And what servers the data is located on is unimportant for the very simple reason that it's encrypted. It's literally useless without a key.

someone, 14 Sep 2018Do you use Gmail, outlook, yahoo, facebook ???? because as... moreNo, because I have no interest in being tracked and having my privacy violated by complete strangers. I also use a scriptblocker to further prevent the ad industry from tracking my life like the utter creep it is.

And there are privacy-conscious services, such as DuckDuckGo for web searches instead of Google, and ProtonMail for e-mailing. They're excellent services really. And then you can just use the iCloud for cloud storage, Siri for your voice assistant needs and Apple Maps for your GPS. There are a ton of alternatives that do nothing to track you.

And no, everything is not out there already. But if someone is as nonchalant about privacy as you, then those industries will find it very easy to track and collect your data

You need to protect your own data and privacy. Nobody else will protect it for you.

Apple actually has no use anyone's personal data. They're not running an ad network like Google and Microsoft. Data mining is costly, and storing the information is costly. Why would they do it if there's nothing to be gained from it?

Moreover, Google has been caught repeatedly stealing data they claimed they weren't mining for. Care to tell me why you think the same thing has never happened to Apple?

If Apple was caught violating their privacy policy, they would lose a massive amount of their user-base, receive an ungodly fine for the EU for violating GDPR and likely find it hard to recover. Why do you think they would be doing that? What's there to gain from it?

Scepticism is fine. It's healthy even. But there's a line where you stop being a sceptic and start being a conspiracy nut-job. If there's no means, method or motive, and absolutely zero evidence, there's literally no cause for concern.

That's bad, shame on you Apple.
